I played MW2 and I enjoyed it... Specially its short single player.
Multiplayer was fun at first, but boring later for me and the overall package was nice.
However from an overall quality standpoint, MW2 is far from a game to be considered GOTY when you take into account the conditions and stardards to which they are judging games for the award.

I do play a bit though and I'm more than happy with PSN. I bought a 360 recently and I have no intention of paying for LIVE because it's not worth it for me.

Is it just me or Gears isn't as great looking as it was made out to be?? Talking about this generation of course.

I'm a visual whore and I'm very satisfied with what this generation's consoles have done in that department, specially the PS3.
I never thought this gen could offer such technically amazing games on consoles... Look at Uncharted 2. The game looks amazing with no damn jaggies at all and running so smoothly.

I'm enjoying the story a lot and according to almost everybody that played both episodes, Gay Tony is even better.
Why it didn't sell?? Maybe because it didn't have the hype GTA4 had or maybe because some people got dissapointed with the lack of usual freedom.

Developers sure love this crap's back and forth... I would too as it only gives my game more hype.
Thing is that we don't really know if a game will stay exclusive or not until it happens or it doesn't... Until this generation is over, there's no way to believe that a third party game will remain exclusive.
Just play the games and if there's a former exclusive you want to play in a console you don't have, then get it. Simple.

Uncharted 2 is by far the most deserving game of this award.
Mine would never play a game apart from games like Bejeweled or interesting puzzle games like that.
The only games that she could watch with no problems at all were Uncharted 1 and 2.
She just enjoys the characters and the story and while she got impressed with the visuals specially in the cut-scenes, she always got a bit sleepy watching the gameplay.
Bottom line??? My GF will never be a gamer, period.
