Just release Conviction and get it over with... When you guys are satisfied with the new ideas and action oriented gameplay then please..... Go back to "whole game with goggles in the dark, awesome suits, fun gadgets and very satisfying infiltrations".

I know I will enjoy Conviction for what it is... It's only when I compare them that I get dissapointed.
Apart from the much more improved visuals and the awesome action and the technical improvements with so many things happening at once and so many details like the water moving due to strong heli's wind and Nate's cough when he inhaled smoke.......
I can't get enough of the outstanding transition between small cut-scenes and gameplay... Makes it look so damn good and cinematic.

Conviction doesn't have the same style that the first 3 games had at all... It does have stealth on its own way just like Double Agent had.
Conviction is DA, but with better visuals and more fluid gameplay, I can even say that Conviction is even more action oriented than DA despite having stealth elements.
The first 3 Splinter Cells didn't have a stiffy Fisher, they had a real awesome stealthy Fisher with "realistic" moves to fit the outstanding spy/stealth...
Even if they add some old school stealth leves with the NV goggles and all the gadgets, I still think they made a mistake by changing the core gameplay of the series...
SC will never be the same for me. Conviction will be a renovated version of Double Agent when it comes to gameplay (aside from the new action mode where you kill many at a time).
I'm still excited about the game because my love for the series is big, but I can't hide the dissapointment of them changi...

Those who buy the 360 without any obvious preference are just uninformed costumers.
PS3 slim offers MORE for your money, so unless you prefer the 360 and its exclusives or you already own a PS3 and are interested in the 360 then you are simply uninformed or just plain masoquist.
Those you speak of already bought a 360... It's not like the 360 is at a new low price.
Why get the 360 over the slim now when the slim offers more than the 360 at the same low price. (Besides the reasons I gave)
If the 360 was at $250 or $200 then your point would've been relevant.
