Is it actually a "bad thing" or a limitation to not have backward compatibility???
I'm asking honestly... I know that Sony tauted it as a great feature when the PS3 released and that could very well be a good reason, the lack of it, to be a fault now and even more when the new campaign is called "It only does Everything".
However, is it really a feature to be considered as bad when it's not there?? Playing an old format from an old generati...
I wonder if the lead designer(s) is/are actually plased with the characters overall design...
I know it's subjective, but come on... They look horrible.
Sorry Wages, but MS doesn't really wait to announce new games just before release...
New IP's for the most part have been known or announced 2 years or more before release. Even games that we all knew were coming, were announced a year before release at the most.
Even sequels have been announced a long time before release.
The games that have been released less than a year before release are games that, everybody who follows gaming, knew they were...
For a second there I though it was GT5...
All I could think of was: GT fans are so screwed and are going to be so pissed..
Let's all thank my lack of reading comprehension.
;)
It's annoying when you have to quit the game due to the fact that you have to because you needed to go out to do something important like the first time I had to quit.
However, I still think it's a nice way to punish those who quit on purpose even though some people like me can get affected after quiting for valid reasons.
If developers stay true to a franchise by releasing good sequels everytime without cutting corners or improving over the last one then I don't see why it would be called milking...
If you start to see lazy sequels with not even a slight improvement or addition and on top of that they start to move the franchise to other genres, then it would be appropriate to call it "milking".
Doing marketing with products not even related to gaming falls under a very ...
Depends.... The game is suitable for all ages, but if you're not that into kiddie "looking" games you could lose interest.
You have to understand though, that even though the game is colorful and funny, it doesn't mean that it's childish... The game is fun and diverse but I had enough with TOD this gen.
You should try this one as it's apparently better and funner than TOD, but know what you're getting into before hand and you will have no problems enj...
I don't understand why people aren't excited about this game's single player at least....
Activision aside this game looks great and fun.
Do you think everybody lives in the US?
The only reason I pre-order a game is because I don't want any trouble at getting my copy day one when I want to get it day one.
I have a Gamestop VERY close to where I live so that's why I also pre-order.
Aside from that, there's not really much reason to pre-order when you have close retail stores or unless there's a good incentive for you to pre-order like free DLC, etc.
Well the game looks great right now, so knowing that it will improve visually is just awesome.
What they need to make sure there is none on the retail version is the framerate issues when fighting many enemies.
That's the only issue I encountered on the demo which is a build from E3 so I expect them to fix it of course.
So you're asking for realtime wounds and bleeding on a game which is basically a massive wound on steroids bleeding from beginning to end??
No mate, you need to wait for the gen after next gen for that.
That Japanese cover looks like a drawing from Gamepro.
So much truth in that article, but what can they do???
They just got used to it.
"IMO, the zombie parts were probably the worst part of Uncharted 1."
fixed.
Now IMO, the zombies was a fantastic twist.
I don't understand people praising Windows OS's when they take almost one year to almost function as you expect.
Windows 7 is just an update to Vista with maybe a few additions... They had to change to a new name/"Operating System" because people didn't want to hear or see the word Vista anymore.
Guess what?? They are charging people as if its actually a completely new Operating System. Yeah... I'll stick with XP as long as I can and download later...
IMO it needs a more realistic look and a different color palette.
Resistance 2 was better than FOM in terms of content and scale, but the game felt incomplete in terms of polish and attention to detail in the visual and story departments.
They need to upgrade their engine, use a different one or increase development time so they can polish the game as much as they can without the "new game each year" pressure.
IMO... Overall the game was averag...
Nope... Simply dislike more than usual casual games with the eye toy and a "kiddie" game at that.
IMO, Gears could be more varied...
I was playing Gears some days ago and I got bored so quickly. I was surprised as I was very excited to play the game.
After a good while of playing and trying I understood that the game was just as simple as it began... Literally run and shoot only.
On top of that, the visuals aren't really that good and cut-scenes are a pain to watch.. They look so horrible and I love cut-scenes. The story cannot be more crappy ...
