Why don't people just wait for the game to release or to at least be shown more... I know that websites just write anything they can fish because they need the traffic, but they end up writing stupid articles about things they really don't know entirely.
Sony exclusives are well made games with quality being their main trait and I'm sure Motorstorm 3 will not be any different when it's all said and done.
All I've heard from people who have tried Pacific Rift in 3D is that it's great and that the game feels entirely new.
Sadly I won't be able to experience it for now... I just can't spend money on a new TV for the moment.
I thought the same thing and I always argued that 3D sucked, until I saw Avatar and understood that if done well and from the ground up it can be a great experience. I also saw How to Train Your Dragon in 3D and it was a nice surprise.
3D in gaming might be a great tool for complete immersion. At least try it.

They improved visuals nicely... Despite which is the lead system, I just hope it looks this good on the PS3. The first was somewhat fun, but the visual were a bit underwhelming IMO.

Well to be honest.... It can't when it comes to real content (games).
Sony has not only more games announced already, but the games always improve a lot in every department while 360 exclusives basically stay the same.
3D could be a good thing for gaming... Let's give it a chance and this is coming from someone who doesn't enjoy 3D that much.
If 3D is implemented in gaming as an option for at least the next 8-10 years it could be a nice addition for those interested.
Don't write it off just yet, because if done well it can be a much more immersive experience. Just don't make it mandatory so people won't be forced to spend on a HD3DTV when they just...

They don't try to write intelligent/substancial articles anymore... Only a few do and they are in danger of extinction.

It may be a gimmick to you, but it sure ain't compared to past 3D experiences.
