tbh the 3DS doesn't seem impressive to me at all.
It's technology is already outdated yet again, even the iPad2 has better looking games, and battery life, and it's not even primarily a gaming device at all.
As for the 3D part, I'm guessing after an hour of gaming it will give headaches, so people will turn it off or turn it right down, and it will probably stay off 90% of the time.

Have to say though those rocks don't look impressive at all and is prob something you can find on a new tablet device lol, but it is just a tech demo.

Warhawk still is fun haha, went online the other day and there are still loads of servers full with people.
It is one of the best online games i've played on ps3, just with some enhancements would have been even better.
Warhawk got alot of support too, with alot of updates bringing loads of new features - like in-game Music etc, so I'll gladly buy their next game, since they wont drop support after a couple of months and focus on the next release lol....
All they would need is a controller to plug into the ipad port and there you have a really great capable gaming device with over 10 hours of battery life.
Really nice big screen to play on too.

Might actually sign up though. I really like the idea of auto-downloads for FW updates and patches.
The only thing is, when you download these games/dynamic etc through PSN+, and your subscription runs out, does all of that content get locked-out?

I have given up on any new significant updates for ps3 now...
(would love to be proven wrong, but I'd bet £100 on not getting a significant update within the next 6+ months, since the last update that actually improved XMB was 15 months ago.)

We know nothing about the PS4, it is so far off they could do a complete 180 and change everything.
IMO I think they should stick to the same architecture as the PS3 (CELL,GPU etc) since all of the Devs now know how to develop for it now and will only get better/improve their design etc as time passes.
Next generation Cell and powerful CPU/More memory would be great, same dev approach just with alot more power to push.
Would really help reduce the amo...

Wonder how much effect the price drop will have on sales in the long run, whether they will go up and stay up or it will just be a spike.
I sort of regret buying my slim now, I only got it a few months ago for £249 :( ...and I think I got a loud 1 haha, since it is like 50/50 if you get 1 that's totally silent or 1 with high-pitched fans.
Definitely shows price drop is coming, or maybe a new SKU?
If I had the money I'd buy one of these and sell it to a casual on ebay for the full £250 lol.

Graphics are very relevant....Infinity Blade looks great for a SMARTPHONE/TABLET DEVICE, the 3DS is a DEDICATED GAMING DEVICE but can't match what smartphones & Tablets can pump out?
The ipad is nothing like a laptop, it is a portable media device...meant for media (figures!).
It is the same battery life as ipod touch/iP...
