This is RIDICULOUS!! The PS3 is the last console to be hacked, that is all. It's not going to render every ps3 useless or something, it's JUST a HACK.
The Wii/360 and every other console does just fine even though they have been JB. It's only getting so much attention because it has taken so long for them to do it on PS3.
As for PS3 selling less games, you won't be able to use any of the online services, so what would be the point in owning games like ...
FW 3.60 seems like it will have more in it than a jailbreak fix.

All I ever hear about from older casuals is 'Have you seen that Wii Fit', I swear that is like 60-70% of the Wii sales driver right there lol.
I wouldn't exactly say this is the XMB filled with advertisements like the site makes out, it's just an extra icon which shows a "whats New for that game" section that shows up when you put the game in, that disappears when you take the game out.
I hope they win and I hope it scares the rest of them.
I think they will actually start trying to hack the ps3 even more and make it their no1 priority, but if Sony keeps suing them and winning, they would soon back off.
The only good thing to come out of hacking/jailbreaking is the features they add, and forces the owner of that hardware to add the missing features people jailbreak for (i.e Apple adding most of the features you get in a jailbreak).
So they should, I hope they bleed them dry so they are too scared to hack any other future consoles/devices.

I also agree with Sony totally disabling PS3s both online and offline, you want to break the law and hack your ps3 and play illegally copied games, then you should prepare to face the consequence of that.
I download torrents etc and if it comes back to bite me, well that's my fault.
Alls I care about is organising friends list in order of online/offline, since it can take a while to go through all of ur friends to see who is online.
It's a nice looking app but lacks in a good few features, i'm sure these will be added over time though and it is free...

Really it is massive too, if you have EON expansion and the original, the map is HUGE, just as big as WOW, never mind the other 2 expansions that have their own HUGE maps/lands to explore!! It only lacks in content and updates..
Not just struggling, Guild Wars came with F2P right out of the gate and sold millions, only because the game wasn't as robust or deep enough to play for years after did people stop playing.
If you look up Guild Wars 2 vids that game looks to be incredible.
They said that about the first 1 and I barely saw any of that! I remember them saying infamous 1 would have a "movie budget" marketing campaign lol.
Also, I think its sad the top quality games like Infamous and even Killzone and Uncharted don't sell as well as they deserve, I know its not all about sales but most of my m8s are casuals and when I show them games like Killzone or Heavy Rain they think they are amazing but have never heard of them! They mostly only...
meh, seems alot like LBP1 except with some additional gaming mechanics and improved visuals.
LBP is a good game, but the problem with me was mainly the stability of the game, with the multiple long loading screens, some would last over a minute joining a game online and there would be alot of lag/Frame rate drops to go along with it.
And no it's not my connection or PS3 lol.

Ye Killzone always has a good soundtrack, it's one of the things that make a game alot better to men, if it has a good soundtrack.
That's one of the many reasons K2 was better to me than R2.
Also though, this is not original score for Killzone, it's made by a few people for trailer music. I think it was used for a Twilight trailer lol!

^^ I think tablets and smartphones will begin to merge over the next couple of years, especially since many tablets come with data contracts with Network providers and some already have phone functionality anyway.
I think they will just be in like different sizes but have the same specs etc, since we already have dual-core processors in a smartphone, I doubt fitting the tech into a smaller device is a problem.

As for running perfectly on ps3, as shown by this video it actually doesn't run as well, multiple saving screens between levels and menus and additional loading screens? On a Playstation 3 when not on a Mobile Phone? Please..
^^ lol ye I know I'm being negative but I got my hopes up when I heard about this, I thought it would be PSP2, a really great gaming device that is capable of being a phone, not the other way round.
This is just an Android phone with a D-Pad.
Which isn't a bad thing, just a bit underwhelming considering what they could do if they made a full PSP2 that has mobile functionality.
Atleast they aren't attaching the name "Playstation" ...
Imagine if they integrated all Steam features with PSN, instead of having 2 seperate services they 'rebuilt' PSN with Steam integration built in!
