Clint Mansell is an amazing composer and seems to only do movies that are really different and actually good (like Moon or Requiem For a Dream).
Jack & Sam seemed good competent composers, but for them to be composing for something for over 5+ years, you can understand why they want a change and to try other things. It would only be the score that suffers if they loose interest in what they are writing music for and that only being a loss for the gamers.

I actually think it wasn't them, that they want the companies to hate them, not the public, and obviously crave support and want to be liked by them lol.
They underestimated how dedicated fans of gaming consoles are to the companies themselves lol, attacking Sony/MS will only anger fans, even if you don't target the console itself and disrupt service.
I think its more likely to be Geo targeting them with some "friends" or something.

Sony has done nothing wrong in my eyes, they haven't broken any laws, if your so P/O'd by this, attack the people who MAKE those LAWS.

I have both and firefox 4 isn't that great, there is still alot it doesn't do well that chrome does great.
It just feels slower and clunky to use.
Still ALOT better than IE though.

The thing that annoys me about GTAIV is that it hurts my eyes, now that we have really top quality games available to compare it to, playing it with SO much blur and jaggies and pop in and major FPS lag, awful character controls...
It's almost un-playable at times for me.
Then you compare it to infamous, I know it offers less in in open world features like not being able to drive cars etc but that game looks and performs amazing in comparison, and infamous 2 looks...

^^ It only takes long to connect if you havent played in a while, I play dailey because it is addictive to me and it takes about 10-15 seconds to connect.
It does take some time to find players for a match if your playing during a quiet time of day, thats the only thing I hope they improve - The Match-making menu.

If you actually read what I'm talking about, I don't make ANY mention of the tablet devices/smartphones having better games, I talk about them being CAPABLE of running games at better specs than the 3DS, better visuals etc...and they are not primarily gaming devices at all.
But not even mainly that, I'm talking about the other devices playing games at a higher level, but ALSO being able to do SOO much more, while the 3DS cant ev...
Reading the article it sounds more like he wanted to try new things, doubt they would have fired him, he would be ALOT cheaper for them to keep on, especially since they have a 5+ year working relationship, than pay out for a movie composer.
I can't see them firing him for no reason.
Clint's scores are all so different and amazing and he doesn't exactly do a tone of projects hording money in the first place, so I'm going to guess the next score for ME ...
