My launch day gtx480 was cheaper than a launch PS3...
I play all my games at 60 frames with 32CSAA at 1080p.
I think it was a god damn bargain.
Bulletstorm just keeps looking better by the day to me. The fact that it doesn't have competetive MP makes me even more interested. We really don't need another generic shooter and Bulletstorm looks like a breath of fresh FPS air.
Brink and Rage will keep the theme going in 2011...
Hopefully from now on the cookie cutter military games will get swept under the rug.

It was pretty obvious from the start that Dead Space was going to be a series of games. You don't really hear people crying about there being to many Resident Evil games, and Resident evil games have always been hit or miss, people should be happy that a GOOD survival horror game is being built apon.

GAH!!!, I hate seeing what voice actresses actually look like. It ruins the illusion.

I have the game pre-ordered, but I agree, it will be linear, have a $#!+ load of bugs, and have 20DLC packs. The day 1 game is only half a game. The only reason I pre-ordered was because an e-tailer screwed up the pricing and I got it for half price which they have to honour ;)
The fact that it REQUIRES an internet connection means it has some form of DRM. What a load of sh!t.
But PC is the only platform that consistently makes a profit year on year.

In my opinion console exclusives are all generic cookie cutter 'action' games. Whether it be a linear 6 hour hack and slash. Or a linear FPS game with a painfully low 55 FOV, or a linear tomb raider rip off.

The majority of my games have no DRM, those that do...have cracks. ;)
Let's settle for a more reasonable example as to settings/performance.
Eg. My i7-870 ( 18 month old tech ) and my GTX480, which is 10 months old. I run 99.99999999999% of my games with at least a 60 frame MINIMUM with 32CSAA at 1080p maxed.

I have a 360 control and I don't have to worry about system requirements....you know why? because games have settings.
I guarantee you that if you could buy PS4 games when it drops, turn the settings down and play it on your PS3..that PS4 adoption rates would be 20% of what they would have been.
I also use my HDTV for gaming and my home surround system ( 400 watt fronts 30-35000hz response, check your system specs ;) )
My last mouse was a Logitec, after my Razer Death Adder V2...I'm never going back.

My overclocked GTX480 which is clocked at 840/1680/4150@1.1volts from the default of 701/1402/924@1.63 runs at 80c max under 100% GPU load.
