It is a cheap parlour trick to hide lack of anisitropic filtering and pop in on consoles, turning blur on, on a PC where you have it running at 60 frames, is like putting 15" wheels on a drag car.
If you want blur, change your refresh rate to 30hz, you will have all the blur you can handle, albeit not as much as the gimped 4-8AF on consoles + mud filter + motion blur + 30hz + screen tearing, but...

Just because the consoles have stagnated doesn't mean PC graphics have. Look at GRID racing then Dirt 2, biiiiig difference. There is a huge difference between Crysis and Crysis Warhead even.

lol. Yeah, the PS3 version which all the coimparison sitres have said is slightly interior to the 360 version, is somehow better than the PC version.
WTF do you mean by smoother...I get 60 frames constant at 1080p with 32CSAA...doesn't get smoother than 16.66666..... ms frame delay for every frame displayed.
On top of that a mouse a keyboard is much more responsive than a gamepad so it is no 'smoother' no mat...

25hrs is good. I'd rather 25hrs of more action packed gaming that 40hrs, 10 of which are tedious grinding and looting areas with nothing going on in them.
If a single player games is good, I replay it a bunch of times anyway.
If at 10+ playthroughs of dead space and at least 6 of fallout 3.

Some people are insecure.
Some genre's like FPS are gimped for multiplats ( linear by design for console resource reasons ) but RPGs don't suffer that same fate.
Fallout 3 sure as hell wasn't any smaller because it was on console too.

There is no contest. The Witcher whoch came out in 2007 not only looked better than DA from 2009, but also played 10x better.
The Witcher 2 will make DA2 look cheap. I'm buying both but anyone who says DA has not played the witcher.
This is probably a good thing. Even on PC the combat was tedious some times. I don't know how anyone played the game without the use of the top down view in some battles....oh that's right console gamers play every game on the easiest difficulty. No need for potions and strategy when you can steamroll through the game.
Just like the complaints of ME2 being a 'shooter'; they came from people who picked a soldier and played on easy. I don't think the develop...
