I don't like that the NGP is going to have a tonne of shooter, and I know that if I don't like them I don't have to buy them.
I just know that shooters are the most profitable in the console space and I don't want less R{G's released because they are chasing the more lucrative and more mainstream trash route.
I honestly don't care how much the NGP costs...I'm getting one for sure.
This guy's face is the image of pedophilia, I mean seriously...look at that face...
He's firing up the 'candy van' as we speak.
um... I don't know, will you? :S
@maxcavsm
Console gamers update their firmware more often than PC gamers have to update drivers.
A driver update takes 5 minutes. I do it once every 2 months.
Another important point...free to play MMO's....
It doesn't matter if you have NO moneyb for games, you can still find a lot of free to play games out there for your gaming fill.
MMO's might not be my cup of tea, but if I was broke, i'd be cheering that I could take my pick of hundreds of free online games.
The simple fact is that PC games have settings, if you are on a tight budget, turn the goddamn settings down and play on an older PC.
Secondly games are cheaper at launch and come down in price faster.
@Dan50
You missed the point again sheep, no games are banned.
The internet says they are banned when the censors block the rating of the gaming, then the game is released after the sensational headlines come out on the internet, at the same time as the rest of the world...UNCENSORED.
In AUS, every game that gets 'banned' is passed and released uncensored before the game ships anywhere else.
Don't believe everything you read on the internet.
@imvix
I don't agree with that, I bought an 8800gt in 2007 which is twice as powerful as a PS3/360, I bought a GTX280 in late 2008. I bought a GTX480 in mid 2010.
Despite the fact that console hardware is locked, PC games have come a long way graphically this 'generation'.
The minimum GPU for crysis 2 is an 8800gt....that is a 300% increase in the min specs since crysis 2.
If I was given a next gen GPU now, I coul...
@gillri
I've only ever had 2 games crash on me, Sacred 2 and fallout 3, and from what I've heard on here, it's more likely that a console game will be broken at launch than a PC game because a PC game can be fixed by the user you see...unlike on consoles where you have to wait for a new firmware update to remove another feature just so you can play a game online.

*hypocrisy and contradictions* - The bible.
@Sarcasm
That is simply not true. The character models have a higher poly count. Higher res textures, higher res shadows, more anisotropic filtering, better shaders.
Even the worst ports all have those things over the console variants.
There are also more enemies on screen at a time and the FOV is also higher.
I thought it was hilarious in the first game how it said that unitology members gain rank and prestige based on their donations and power they give to the church, something which is clearly true of scientology.
Hmmm a 'religion' about aliens invented by a science fiction writer...
That right there should have sounded alarms but religion has always been for the gullible.
*waiting for PC fanboy comment*
Right here boyo;
Fighting over garbage scraps makes you a beggar.
I'm currently playing Dead Rising 2 at 1920x1080 with 32CSAA and overall graphics that make the console version look like crap, it's running at 60 frame min...
No need to state the obvious though, unless prompted as I was of course.
Enjoy 720p with screen tearing and dips into the 20 frame region :D
O.O
That...was...amazing.
I don't even consider that video hyperbole....ALL military shooters are the fu<king same.
lol@ people saying it's PC footage.
Way to facepalm.
All along people have been saying KZ3 looks better....when they see that this "PC footage" is actually on console...they will finally stfu.
No crysis 2 pc footage has been shown publicly yet
@koehler83
The Wii had the weakest game lineup of all time for Nintendo....that cancels out software innovation....what's left after that, marketing innovation? I suppose they did trick millions into buying a platform with no decent games, they get points for that I guess.
@MacGamer
The Wii was not revolutionary....analogue only cables...480p...it was basically 2 just 2 gamecubes with motion control.
I traded mine after it sat unused for most of 12 months...
I have owned all nintendo's consoles and handhelds. Nintendo dropped the ball quality wise.
It takes a big man to get upset at a self-parody of the exact behavior they employ...

Wrong, dungeon siege is being published by squeenix but developer by obsidian.
