Can you explain to me why the following statement is allowed
"Killzone 3 looks better in the single player"
But this statement is refuted
"Crysis 2 looks better in the single player"
Because going off this footage

I swear they already had a patch for that.

I didn't get a good pc till around 2007
Same here buddy, I built an amd 800mhz Duron PC with onboard graphics in like...1998. I just played heroes of might and magic 3, starcraft, and whatever other games it would run at the time. I always played a lot of platformers and puzzle games on PC as a kid but mostly played on consoles. Then I built an AMD athlon XP 1ghz PC, again with onboard, and it lasted for a while, and put a geforce 4400ti in i...
The game is launching with LAN play, bot matches, more players per match, sli and crossfire support in game at launch. Dedicated servers, nvidia 3d ( for the sheep who care ). DX 11 graphics. Clan support, first person vehicle cockpit view
I don't think exclusivity matters.
@nalyd-nolat
KZ3 uses deferred rendering. Anyone with half a brain will tell you that it is a cheap baked on non realtime lighting method.
Crysis 2 uses HDR. That right there puts it ahead of 99% of console games including KZ3.
They also have it running at 720p/30 frames on both consoles with full 3d environments ( none of this sprite B.S like in the UC2 train sequence.
The game is also much more open than any console shooter...
@plb
lol, nice try, but BFBC2 has more playes on PC than both consoles combined. Why else do you think BF3 is now primarily a PC game when BFBC2 was the sequel to a console only game.
It has gone from console exclusive, to multiplat, to pc focus.
Any idiot can see which way the wind is blowing. With multiplats like Dragon Age having mod tools and the editors the developers used, bundled in with the game, as well as many multiplats using DX10 ...
Thanks PS3 for pushing the boundaries of graphics by using Next Generation(TM) standard resolutions of 720p and 30 frames with dips into the 20's with screen tearing and non widescreen FOV of 55-75...
Oh that's right, PS3 is also obsolete.
PS3-tards superiority complex is hilarious in the scheme of things. The PS3 can'ty even do MSAA properly, instead they blur the entire image as a cheap method of making up for hardware deficiencies, I would call...
I'm glad you agree.
The best looking game on PC right now is a multiplat (metro 2033)and most of other best looking games are also multiplats.
Eg. Lost Planet 2, Resident Evil 5, Just Cause 2, Dirt 2 etc etc.
Exclusivity doesn't ensure better quality ( starcraft 2 only uses 2 threads and doesn't have in game AA )
:S
You realise that if you buy the PC version you won't be playing against console players...so why do you care if they are noobs.
Exclusivity fetishes are a console gamer thing, how about you just play some games.
The PC version supports more players and has DX11.
If yuo want it on PC, buy it on PC.
Rofl. Loving the irony you retard.
So your belief is that IGN should get to publish *articles about nothing* and get a free pass because they're famous, but that a blog writer needs to step their game up?

@despair
If you can't figure out a *5 second* fix for the vsync issue then it's time to trade i the PC fr a console.
DS1 AND DS2 both lock to 30hz with vsync on. It is a bug, how they made the same mistake twice, I do not not, but forcing vsync through thr driver makes the game incredibly responsive and the game works amazingly on PC with either a mouse and it also has gamepad support which I tried and it was surprisingly ok.

I can see why getting a few extra nodes would be good for some.
But in DS2...the persistent upgrades is what gives the game replayability, it's fun to play through a second time and still get the reward of getting more powerful over time.
It encourages you to manage you ammo better and aim more accurately because you use excess ammo and health packs to sell to buy more nodes. If you have everything maxed, that's when you start a new game instead of a ...
How can they hate what they've never tried?
Don't try to sugar coat your insane comments.
You basically just said you only want DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE to have something as long as it doesn't effect you...
Yet here you are trying to say you are not uncaring. Just STFU. Your attitude sucks and I hope you know what it's like one day.

Key remapping has been a PC standard for many years. Only now are we seeing half assed games without that ability. It is solely the responsibility of EA to fix it.

That's awesome he can still do what he loves. Key remapping should be standard in gaming.

The fact that games have settings is a GOOD THING. Not a negative.
Are you trying to tell me that you think it would suck if you could play PS4/720 games on your PS3/360 with slightly reduced settings?
B.S
So not only is current PC tech future compatible due to settings, but it has unlimited backwards compatability.
Games that people run on reduced settings now, they can run at higher settings down t...
