The best way to get a gaming PC is to incorporate your gaming components into your 5 yearly PC update etc.
It's funny seeing people say "I can't afford a gaming PC" then these same people posts forum posts about a laptop they just bought for close to $1000 that has integrated graphics.
Step 1. Learn what parts mean and how they compare to other parts instead of just listening to the salesperson who will sell you a laptop with no graphics car...
How is it useless. The moment the servers are up/ the game is able to be activated, I will have already downloaded it. Whereas other people might have a LOOOOOOOOOONG download wait because all the other sheepies who wait like good little boys will be downloading at the same time which will make it go very slow.
I'm 51% complete at it will be done very soon.

The gameplay and level up mechanics and party management is the same as DA:O.
Just with MUCH better A.I so you don't HAVE to babysit them if you don't want to.
As with any game, if you play it on an easy difficulty it loses the strategy aspect.
ME2 became a shooter on easy but it was damn sure an RPG at the difficulty I was playing it on.
DA2 is even more about the stats than DA:O which...

I think it was about 10hrs for me on hard and I'm on my second playthrough now. Just because the MP isn't good doesn't mean it has no replayability though. The story and gameplay are incentive enough to play again.
It's a great game.
Dead SPace was about 10hrs long and had no MP...yet I have played it front to back probably 8 times.

In UT3 there is about 30 really really large and varied maps, none of this cut and paste. The level design in UT3 is amazing. Then there is about 6 gamemodes.
There is nothing wrong with being a casual gamer. I play all sorts of genres. In a given night will play DMC4 ( hack n slash ), Demigod ( RTS ), Dirt 2 ( racing ), Bulletstorm ( shooter ).
It's much more fun when you don't 'specialise' is one genre type. I have a lot more games to choose from and I don't feel the need rto take it seriously.
Man the specs are brutal...gtx280 = 30 fps at 1680x1050 :o
I still don't think these specs are legit though. They never came from crytek themselves.
Keep in mind that the recommended specs for crysis was an 8800gtx...it got 30 frames on high at 1680x1050 with no AA.
Recommended specs never means 'maxed' it means barely playable maxed.

The demo was not an indication of the actual game.
I played the 'MP' for 5 minutes ate quit.
Bulletstorm has an awesome story, a really long campaign and amazing graphics. SP is where the fun lies.
Echo mode is just the combat without context.
Take the story away from any shooter and the combat is meaningless.
Rent it and play the SP. I'd give it 8.5 but that score is witho...
A little late for a price drop. If they had done this sooner maybe NDS wouldn't have a userbase 5x as big.

Female PC's in games are generally better.
I played as a female in the demo and the voice acting was awesome. The male voice acting was cheesy and he looks like Billy Mays.
As for the class, they are all so good I have no idea.
After DA:O aving such gimped physical attacking classes I think I'll have to go for either a rogue or a warrior.
I'm leaning towards dual dagger rogue though.

When you can game in native res on your HDTV with gamepad support for 99% of all games with a PC; there is little need for a console except for the few exclusives worth owning a year then, and even then it is debatable whether the console price is worth it considering the overpriced console games and consoles.
There is however always a place for portable gaming devices.

The SP in Bulletstorm is the heart and soul of the game. Great story, amazing gameplay and jaw dropping graphics.
Beats the hell out of some other colourless/generic linear FPS games we know, *wink wink nudge nudge anvil on head*
