In fairness though, a lot of the folks throughout this thread levelling criticism towards the showcase, myself included, are mostly long time PlayStation fans & owners.
After a nearly two-year wait to see the latest goodies, I hoped for and expected better from Sony.
The production values of this entire show were terrible. Whoever made the decisions to edit this & put this together needs to be fired.
Previous Sony shows would start by revealing a first party heavy hitter to whet the appetite. This didn't happen with yesterday's show. Surprises and new IP's were sorely lacking.
The pacing throughout was pondering & boredom set in for me before the halfway stage.

This DLC is a 10 out of 10, or at the very least at strong nine. The sevens and eights from the usual suspects review sites are straight up bullsh*t.
The graphics are completely unparalleled on console. The £15 Is superb value for money. The gameplay is tremendous fun. The title adds a plethora of additional content. The level of sheen, polish & quality on display here is absolutely mind-blowing.
My only minor gripes is the story has an overabun...
I bought the original GameCube back in 2005 just to play Resident Evil four which was exclusive at the time. I had a PlayStation two console during this time and if memory serves me correctly I was also putting Metal Gear Solid three Snake Eater through its paces at the time. Those two aforementioned titles went on to become my absolute all-time favourites. Didn't regret it one bit as I had a great time with the GameCube console.

It does not disappoint & the car handles like an absolute dream & the engine sounds fantastic. It is by a country mile my favourite car in the game.

I have over approx 410 cars including all the top tier expensive models. I only have to scoop up the remaining 50 or so cheaper 1 million and below vehicles to complete the set.
I have not had to pay any real money whatsoever. All done on the track.
Do the Sardegna track during the day, I use the Toyota TS050 Hybrid, tweaked the car settings accordingly in order to be allowed to enter.
I win easily in approx 25 minutes or so. I'm ah...
The game has been absolutely tremendous so far. The original is among my favourites of all time & I was surprised at how much scarier to play than the 2005 iteration this version is. Fantastic spooky atmosphere & quicker more deadly foes.
There were some elements of Resident Evil 6 that I enjoyed, it had some great action as well as horror moments, however, for me the game felt rather disjointed. I also vividly remember smashing my PS3 controller to smithereens off a wall in my bedroom in sheer utter frustration at the cumbersome controls & awful quick time events & I'm a very placid chap. The bloody horrendously implemented 'climbing a rope' section springs to mind.
Empty all your weapons and items from the suitcase. Do not collect any other items. Run past all enemies. You have now reached the section where the cop is set on fire. Go to your right through the cowshed, now go down the ladder to collect the kitchen knife and the tmp submachinegun. Enjoy.
I'm jealous, playing this in VR must be fantastic. Retro circuits would be an excellent addition.
This is a tremendous update. The new track is awesome and I have wasted no time in grabbing the Honda racing car, which handles like a dream and adding onto it's chassis, my all time driving hero, Jim Clark's custom classic green & yellow Lotus colours.
