The graphics, weapons, melee mechanics, characters & Victorian setting for this title, in my opinion certainly deserve a sequel.
However, in another areas the title suffered a shocking lack of polish with regards to it`s whack a mole clumsy and clunky shooter mechanics and stop start, cut scene, stop start gameplay.
With that said, I platinumed the game and thoroughly enjoyed it.
In the capable hands of either Naughty Dog, Santa Mo...
Approaching two years now & Sony have not shown me a single thing that tickles my fancy & would make me part with my money. Last nights State of Play was a mediocre disappointment for me, hopefully, a possible showcase will make amends.
I have it on good authority that Pips excuse for next week is, 'The dog ate my homework!'
While I fully appreciate the game is a stellar achievement, I didn't enjoy my time with it, due to the game on PS4 looking like it had been smeared in vaseline and the game mechanics were an absolute pain in the backside to get to grips with.
Trying to do a simple task that requires you to open not one but two weapons wheels when you are in a heated skirmish and wanting to use health was a fun sapping experience. Even the act of opening a drawer was a chore, sometimes ...
Your eloquence is far too kind Fox.
Congratulations Sony Bell end. I have absolutely zero interest in your live service sh*tty title. Days Gone 2 would have been a day one title.
You are spot on & have pretty much hit the nail on the head there.
I have watched the first two episodes of Shogun & you're absolutely right it is a tremendous series. Hopefully, your excitement for Ronin is rewarded with a great new title that you thoroughly enjoy.
I hate to be a party pooper, but in my opinion, the game play and storytelling that has been shown so far, has given me, for some peculiar reason absolutely no interest in this game whatsoever. I just can't quite put my finger on whether it's the art style or the slightly over the top fantasy infused gameplay that is putting me off.
Ghost of Tsushima was my favourite PS4 game along with Spider-Man, hence I find it rather puzzling why this title just isn't grabbi...
This is the first time in my living memory being a PlayStation gamer from the start, that they have nothing upcoming this year, or on the horizon that is of any interest to me.
Kojima's game looked of stellar quality, sadly though, his off the wall narratives are just not my cup of tea. These jumpy jumpy robot games with women with huge knockers prancing about with swords are just not my thing either.
Ultimately, I think the problem is mostly with me,...
This was organised criminal theft and an attempt to use blackmail & extortion to steal millions in cash. The despicable part is that the criminals even posted intimate knowledge of employees past and present details.
These are dangerous and ruthless, lowlife scumbags who deserve to feel the full weight of the law.
Read my post above Trini. Yes is the short answer. It's a bit of a fiddle to access and it does come with some limitations.
The PS5 has a web browser. It's not integrated into the user interface but you can access it by starting a friends conversation and entering a web search address.
Sadly you can't make it full screen and you can't open multiple pages but it does exist. It is very limited.
The PS3 web browser was terrific back in the day for downloading movies, music and cough, splutter ahem, Scandinavian website material to your hard drive. I used to download m...
No the only one that is triggered is you because you have no respect for someone who has a difference of opinion that loved the first game but found the sequel depressing with unlikable characters.
I'm not asking for the sequel to be all rainbows and lollipops and happy in a zombie apocalypse but at the same time I don't want to be depressed and miserable for 24 hours playing with loathsome characters and a disjointed storyline that I hated.
I did...
The writing is dreadful. The characters are loathsome. As I said it is a depression simulator. You two are not respecting my opinion that I don't like the game.
The directing and pacing are not on point.
The ending is atrocious. I shall not be giving, as you wish, a blow by blow account of the story, as I do not wish to enter spoiler territory. 'Bigot sandwich' that is Pulitzer prize f*cking material right there.
Philip Spencer is a lying scumbag = the end.
The TV show in my opinion is complete garbage. The last of us part 1 is one of my favourite games of all time. The sequel to me is an absolute depression simulator. Technical marvel but sadly a god awful story.
This article misses the point. New games & more games will do zero.
Quality not quantity.
I'm a Sony chap & the only games on the green side that get me a smidgeon jealous are Forza, Ryse Son Of Rome and the flight simulator title. Starfield does nothing for me & Redfall crashed and burned on entry.
The only game that Microsoft has coming out that peaks my interest is the Indiana Jones game, as I'm a nerd.
Thank you Insomniac. Spider-Man one is my favourite game of all time. It is just so much fun.
Inverno, you have absolutely hit the nail on the head. For me, Driveclub is my number one request for either a sequel or a polished upgrade.
