It's just a shame the games are quite rubbish.
I think it's interesting that some people think it's low, whilst others think it's high.
If anybody wants to add more data to see how far the trouble goes, the data is all there.
Also, while 6% doesn't seem like a lot, it actually makes a very big difference.

As unreal as those look, Crecente at Kotaku took it to the accounting department and it's real. Joystiq have cashed theirs.
I know cheques can actually come in a crazy range of looks, and I assume the address part there is decoration. A cheque doesn't have to have an address on, so it can be whatever they want.
I don't want this to be a dig at the sites in question, as they are just doing their jobs. Stuff like this just really annoys me, and totally makes me loose faith in our media.
