To be fair, MS did say they would get him "everything necessary to participate in the Halo: Reach beta". Which I would assume most people would think is more than nothing.

The game companies have pretty much dug themselves a grave by being super greedy fucks. Consumers are just doing wheat they can to avoid being shafted.
It's MS, I wouldn't be surprised of leaking a Halo game early was a "feature".
I tried playing Goldeneye having not played it when it came out and I really couldn't get into it. I guess it was good for the time, but games have moved on so much.
I think it was Killzone 2 that really got me super "in" a game. Just the feeling of being really in the trenches. That, and maybe Star Wars Battlefront.
I dunno, that guy still sounds like he might be an idiot... we will see.
