Maybe we'll get another side-by-side edit instead.
Maybe it *was*? Why do you assume otherwise?
Do you people think that the reason the multi-plats are coming up short on PS3 is now, all due to the "lead" platform?
You guys have found a new excuse and are sticking with it eh?
I guess ripten needs to add the /sarcasm for this crowd.
Does anyone here know what a non sequitur means? Look it up here; http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
What is the story here?
A) Problems at the end
B) Almost Cancelled
C) "It was just not running as well as the 360″
and finally, after some "off the record" talk, he comes back...
"360 Development Kits were completed and shipped out about a year earlier than PS3 Development Kits"
Well, that's just wrong. Only the PS3 hardware shipped late, not the dev kits.
Try again.
Looks cool. A little 2 player coop action. Sweet.

Of course you're going to get bored with Halo 3. Watching it sit in the case cant be very fun. You actually have to own a Xbox 360 to play it you know.
Agreed. Halo 3 is all about balance.
It feels more like a sport than a game. The game is so finely crafted, that it "gets out of the way" and lets players really take the gameplay to their fullest capability.
Some of the maps are better than others. Personally, I think Sandtrap is the best multi-player map ever.
@2.17
yes, that is the 'twitchy' part - not everyone enjoy that. Some prefer varied gameplay, more co-op based feeling.
twitchy-fast != good (imho).
It took almost 1:30 to get started.
That aint exactly "fast".
You sound like you're on to something. Sony bundling a 3rd party title is very odd.
Has this ever happened before? Has a console ever been bundled with a third party title?
Nintendo usually does the bundle-in thing, but it is always their own game.
Sony giving Konami's game away for free seems strange. Good for someone wanting a PS3 with rumble, but not so good for Sony I wouldnt think.
oh geez. Playing computer games on at a desk, on a monitor is not the same as playing in a living room, on a couch and a 46" Plasma.
The 120GB comes in handy for all the Xbox Originals, XNA Community, Xbox Live Arcade games, Demos and the like.
Why would you store media on your game console? Doesnt make sense.
I personally keep *all* of my videos, movies, music, photos and the rest on a Windows PC so they are available to every device in the...
The General Gaming public isnt as aware of MGS as you believe.
Its not on the level of a Halo, Madden or GTA for public-mindshare.
For everyone. The gaming industry is going full steam ahead - that's for sure.
Or people interested in the noise that the PS3 produces.

This is N4G. Certain liberties are encouraged, otherwise, not so much.
I'd just like for News 4 Gamers to get off the movie-disc format discussion... its pretty tired.
Some small measure is worthwhile, but it's not that critical-a-matter.
Sony's not the only company making drives.
And, you'd be wrong if you think the price of the player isnt going to fall, and fall very fast.
The MPAA is very interested in getting its DRM discs into more hands, so they are certainly putting the pressure on the drive makers.
Further, they'll be a player from China in very short order to take the lower end of the market, and the big guys will have to react.
Exacty, I'll wait about 12 months and buy a BluRay player for $75.
If this game were 10 hours, I think many people wouldnt be so upset.
Sony should give away some kind of update for sure. Maybe a new level.
