I'm certain I'll get plenty of disagrees, but here goes. The one guy they quote in the article is a Dev, so I'd say you can take his word for it.
They other guy is a gamer who appears to be a waiter working at a restaurant or food court (notice the apron he's wearing), either near the GamesCom venue or at the facility itself. He also has a photo of himself with the Devs.
Now being that he frequents the Mr.X site, you can make whatever judgeme...
It is virtually impossible to make everyone happy. Sadly, this is especially true for gamers. 1080p / 60fps with occasional and brief dips into the low 50's. I don't see the problem...it's a console.
Now if i had a $5000 gaming-rig and the game performed like that...I'd have a problem with that.

It's a fairly common practice to use PC/Devkits for demo stations at these events. Both MS & Sony do it. Also, "Ori and the Blind Forrest" is also coming to PC as well, so there's that too.

I disagree...I did not hear Sony making things crystal clear when it came to exclusives. I heard a lot of word-play and I never heard the word "Timed".
Take Destiny for example; Before the BETA, Sony talked about Destiny like it was only coming to Playstation. Gamescom is the first time they've used the words "Coming to Playstation first" in regards to Destiny.

I watched both conferences yesterday, and I heard the word exclusive a lot in both presentations. I would say that about 90% of those exclusives are timed on both sides.

It's called business. MS has exclusives / Sony has exclusives. I currently only own one console. When an exclusive comes out that I really want, but can't play on my console, I'll buy the other console. Simple.

I'm more excited to see anything related to "The Division" at Gamescom than anything else. I'm really hoping this game turns out to be something that my friends and I can really dive deep into. If the graphics are even close to what they've shown so far, that will just be icing on the cake.

Yes...The Division gameplay showed at E3 was on an X1, but Gamescom is supposed to be live gameplay.

Personally, I couldn't care less about Xbox sales in Germany. I'm very happy with my X1. I'm happy with the games, I'm happy with the features, I'm happy with the new customer feedback system, I'm happy with the monthly updates, and I'm happy with the direction Phil Spencer is leading the Xbox in.
