Anyone who comes out of any game ever thinking "that was the best story ever" is an idiot.

Heavy Rain and Cage get picked on for story because that is the focus of the games. And he constantly claims to want to bring a higher standard of writing to games, so naturally people are going to focus more attention to the story and it's flaws. Sure most game's stories are shit but people expect that and ignore it for the most part, because it is only a small part ...

Hell yea, it is going to be awesome. Can't wait to see the new ending stuff, as that was the only really disappointing aspect of the game for me, when it ended.

Seems unlikely at this point, the way that CDProjekt RED work it would take them another 6 months. And they need to ramp up production on their new game which are coming out in 2013/4. And another side project.

If they hadn't ruled out, outsourcing the port to another studio I would say definitely but I doubt they have the time and resources to do it ATM. Their future games will likely come to PS3 tho, if not the PS4.

If anything this shows just how little modern games are pushing high end PC hardware. Which is on one hand great because the price of entry is much lower and there is less need to upgrade. But on the other hand kinda sad that developers aren't really pushing boundaries on the platform.

I hope that there are some really showpice games soon, something like the Samaritan demo but a full game. Maybe what ever Epic are cooking up for their UE4 showpiece game. Or whatever Cryt...

well considering the article says the game is at 1.6 million 500k copies of a delayed port would be pretty impressive.

A PC release would push it over 2 mill ; )

It is a little sad that these kinds of features are just a given, I mean a lot of them are easy to implement and can make a big difference in the experience on PC.

But considering the current state of most PC ports, Gearbox should be commended for taking the time to get feed back and implement the features. And also to let gamers know that they will be implemented.

3 cheers for Gearbox I say

When do we start calling him racist? I mean he dissed Japanese games that makes him exactly like Phil Fish, and people called him racist.

And the "Revenue" that the article talks about is MS revenue not Ubisoft revenue. Plus it is revenue anyway they are basically taking pre-orders and using the money to fund the game, they are taking money in exchange for services. If a publisher pays a developer to develop a game then that is revenue for the developer.

So what they are saying is that it brought in less revenue than a game that isn't even made yet (Wasteland 2)? lol

With $1,000,000 "revenue" (for MS not Ubisoft, IDK what the cut would be) that is likely pretty bad considering the game has been in development hell so long and was originally going to be a retail game. It probably cost over $5 million to make.

Also their comments about PC look even stupider considering a game like Dear Esther with...

Maybe in the short term but it will pay off in the future, look at Valve. Building up a loving and dedicated fanbase is good for business. Or at least I hope it is, I know I for one will buying their games with far less doubt than other devs because I know even if their games have issues they will listen to their fans and work to fix the problems for free.

Games from other studios have to be fantastic before I will buy because I know that it's not likely they will improve...
