I thought they confirmed there was going to be a PC version of LP3...

I guess i will pick this up
Minecraft is pretty heavy on the RAM
Parallax occlusion mapping isn't a DX11 effect, several DX9 titles have used it.
Call me when they have tessellation based displacement mapping...
Woot, day one
Lesson 6: Gabe Newell is a Boss, but not anyone's boss.
Which is why Counter-Stab: A Game of Knives is not a game yet
Lesson 7: You can never have to many knives!
Blizzard's moto has always been "Easy to learn, impossible to master" They are just better at the easy to learn part these days.
A lot of the "complex" or "hardcore" elements in their older games are actually technical limitations or glitches. Things like autocast, better grouping. and caster management, auto splitting workers etc in Starcraft 2 just weren't really possible back when they made their early games.
Diablo ...
actually they just kept pace with inflation this gen. 60$ today is equal to $46.30 in 2001 for example. Considering that the average game budget is several times higher you can tell why developers need a little extra from DLC to make up the difference.
So why did they cut 2 studios then? Zipper and BigBIG
One you could just say the studio wasn't doing to well, but 2 is clearly cutting the fat.
they don't count digital and that is likely shipped not sold to consumers. Still VGC has never been all that accurate.
well I like it
It's not great but I have seen a whole lot worse. The US version for example lol.
Those look bad because they are captured from a video.
as you can see from these console shots that is what the textures look like, it's just more apparent when rendered at a higher resolution.

Still going to be day one, but it is a pity they haven't brushed up some of those textures because those are ugly ass messes of blurry ugly textures.
Oh well gameplay is where it counts.
CD Projekt RED are such great developers, can't wait for the Enhanced edition to drop for PC.
Shouldn't the title be
"Someone uses a bot on Internet petition, people assume it was EA for no apparent reason"
Seriously find me one Internet petition with more than 1k signs that hasn't had a bunch of bots sign. There is no evidence that points towards EA's involvement. This is just wild speculation.
I would buy some Grasshopper games on Steam.
Not to mention due to inflation what was $60 in 2005 is $69.94 in today's money. $50 in 2001 is $64.31 today.
well that was a pointless article, 8 pages for a simple driver error that will be fixed with the next driver release.
Also using low detail animated GIFs for this kind of comparison is stupid, should use full res screen grabs.
can't wait
Dev seems like bull TBH
Says that it is running DX9 version which is impossible as DX9 is a MS developed API, a Nintendo console will never use it.
Says that it has better particle effects, then uses Ambient Occlusion as an example, which is a shadowing technique nothing to do with particles...
And says that by droping a 480p video feed which can just be a static image (which would take virtually no resources) will allow them to go from 720p ...
