You can never have too many games
I pre-ordered MGR:R, I also brought Sonic Racing Transformed, Viking: Battle for Asgard (awful game, HotD: Overkill and Binary Domain. I have put my money where my mouth is.
And given how long Rising was on the top 10 on Steam I am sure plenty of others did the same.
where did you get 10k copies for the PC version from? The only time SE have mentioned the sales of my game to my knowledge the game had sold 580k (160k in Japan, 220k USA, 180k EU, 20k Other) copies total X360+PC but that was two weeks after the PC release. The game still shows up during Steam sales from time to time.
yea tun-based games are very popular on PC. Just look at Civilization for example. And there is a long legacy of turn-based RPGs starting from games like Ultima (a series the helped inspire early JRPGs), the early Fallout games, the long running Heroes of Might and Magic series, X-Com etc etc
And I think the Kickstarter success of games like Wasteland 2 shows that audience is very much still around and hungry for new games.
I would buy it on PC...
They have been re-releasing their old PC final fantasy 7 & 8 ports (with crippling DRM and selling it only through their own website for some reason) and the Enix side of the company has a close relationship with Nixxes Software who do PC ports like Deus Ex: HR, Tomb Raider, Hitman etc as well as the upcoming Thief 4.
The last game that SE Japan brought to PC, The Last Remnant was sadly not a great game on top of being months after...
What do you mean next? There are several games already that have their ending as DLC including Prince of Persia 08 (and to make it worse they never released the ending for the PC version) and Asura's Wrath.
But if you buy it used you are promoting these practices as they are partially designed to get some revenue from people who buy games used.
All first run copies (not just pre-orders) have a free code for this mode.
Ranger mode was DLC for the first game as well (months after release as a response to fan feedback but still)
It's funny how one effect gave 4A a bad rap in terms of optimisation. As long as you don't turn on the crazy DoF effect they had performance isn't that bad considering the image quality. I'm not really sure why they added that DoF implementation, I guess it was so that people that are playing the game in 5-10 years time could have something to play with lol.
The 4A engine actually scales very well on the lower settings. They just pushed the effects quality on ...
@nukeitall RAGE?
Borderlands 2 is exactly what I wanted in a sequel to Borderlands, more, bigger, better, Borderlands.
Yes because a random poster on GameFAQs that claim to have been told something by random PR reps, is a reliable source...
No they asked for questions about their game on Wii U
"How are the graphics turning out?? Are you guys happy on how powerful the WiiU is?” 1080p without breaking a sweat!"
The question is clearly about how the graphics of their game is turning out, to which they replied it was 1080p without breaking a sweat, not surprising considering it's 2D.
Nothing suggests they were talking in general. I mean how could they? They don't ...
the demo dipped as low as 30fps while running on a GTX680, I don't think a "medium gaming rig" could pull off those graphics.
@aliengmr
Did you miss the part where most of the existing LA team and management left after TFU, and then most of the management left again after TFU2. The LA that is developing Star Wars 1313 is not the same studio that didn't like PC. And in fact just recently one of the leads left for Valve. There is a massive amount of turnover at the studio.
Also PC gaming is on an up swing at the moment. And considering they already have it up and running I don't see wh...
Pre-ordered on Steam already
Darksiders was a really great looking game, and 2 looks even better.
I like it when games have a recognisable visual style.
Nvidia have less experience in the console space and are very resistant to other companies modifying their tech. They also charge a lot more for licensing. AMD is a better choice in the console space.
what did you do buy everything that was on sale?
article bit old isn't it?
Surprised to see CAPCOM actually put effort into this release
