@BubbleSniper
The Witcher 2 is a DX9 game...
Uses almost a gig of VRAM for the highest resolution textures tho so good luck getting that running on a system with 512MB of total system RAM
how did this crap get approved?

I want closure, that cliff-hanger at the end of 2 is annoying me, I want a expansion pack.
it will be like the crysis thing again where the game looks years ahead of anything else but the hardware needed to actually run and get a playable frame-rate won't be around for a couple years. That is why the real time PC demos at E3 didn't look as good as these screens because they were running the E3 demo on high to keep a solid framerate on 1 GTX580 and this is Max probably running on 3 GTX580s at ~15-20 fps with 16AA @ 1080p or an even higher resolution
The fact that the DX11 patch for Crysis 2 still isn't out, get it?
Bad optimisation so even on high end hardware you get performance an visual issues is common in a lot of console ports, that and lack of customisation in graphics settings can also lead to performance issues for the majority of PC gamers that didn't buy/build a top of the line rig in the last 6 months.
They said they could optimise it to run on 1 GTX580
bah obviously fake, Crytek can't make DX11 games...
Looks ok, the low resolution textures and the weird box foliage in the first screen just looks disappointing after plying The Witcher 2.
Don't forget Skyrim, Dues EX: HR, RAGE, Minecraft, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, Pirates of the Black Cove, Serious Sam 3, Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, Might & Magic: Heroes VI, Dead Island, Driver: San Francisco, Batman: Arkham City, Saints Row: The Third, Jurassic Park, Firefall, Neverwinter and King Arthur II
The CPU is using the same manufacturing tech as the Watson super computer but that says nothing about it's power and the GPU handles the rendering anyway so the CPU wouldn't have much impact on visuals. Also DX12 doesn't even exists yet....
No it's a Blu-ray modified just enough to avoid paying royalties by Panasonic just like the gamecube had a modified mini DVD and the Wii used a modified DVD.
Try googling Nintendo optical disc
hell a lot of PS3 games are under 10GB, the only games that need more are the ones with hours of FMV or lots of voice acting in multiple languages or in MGS4's case not compressing any of the audio assets. Most PS3 games have a lot of data duplication to cut down on load times as well.
Also as this disc format is probably just a slightly modified blu-ray so as to avoid paying royalties to the Blu-ray association headed by Sony just like the Wii disc was a modified DVD. A...
Can't wait to see what it looks like on PC
They are not looking to buy Nvidia they are setting up a deal where if anyone else tries to buy 30% or more of the stock MS has the right to match or better the offer.
If that means more games like the witcher 2 sign me up!
No metro: last light or ARMA 3
I don't understand of comparisons with such low resolution images and no option to see then in their native resolution...
The PC version is on 2 discs with like 5 different languages and ultra high resolution textures, the 360 version will probably only be 1 disc
all games utilise smoke and mirrors...
