Damn I was sure it was going to be Will Wright. But I guess it's only Llamas he loves lol.
isn't this old news?
They already have F1, Grid, Fuel and Dirt
How many racing ip does one company need?
@XRider You realise Killzone 3 is like 9GB and 32GB of pre rendered video right?
http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...
RAGE is said to be over 10GB in size (2DVDs on 360) and have 0 pre rendered videos...
some real Arma 3 gameplay http://www.youtube.com/watc...
BF3 has the advantage of being built from the ground up for DX10/11 rather than DX9 with 11 effects tacked on. BF3 also looks to feature a greater scale and draw distance.
it's a big studio with multiple teams and the new game is probably in pre production meaning that it will be mostly designers and writers working on it, and those people usually aren't really needed on the polishing phase of development.
Wrong, AAA is an industry term used to refer to projects that have high budgets and production values.
OMG that new Legacy of Kain game that was featured in that Eidos survey was real!
you forgot the "so far"
2033 was an interesting if flawed title, I hope Last Light improves on the formula of the first and creates a truly memorable experience.
Metro: last light and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 should be good PC showcase titles.
You are forgetting that that console makers take a cut from every game sold on top of the retailer cut and that most PC game retail for £35-40 new anyway. If a console game was sold for £20 the publisher would get more like £4.
Maybe people that didn't watch it in HD so didn't see the jaggies over everything.
That was the point the zelda demo shouldn't be compared to full games but to other tech demos.
First it's not "real-time gameplay" it is a tech demo, second it has no AA.
compare it to this http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Looks to clean and bright IMO and the tiling is a tad obnoxious in the field shot but if they can capture the gameplay I will be more than happy.
Considering that it is CAPCOM's most expensive game to date I think they wan't to conjure more than a sleeper hit.
@MitchGE
God of war 3 actually fluctuates between 30-60fps they gave up on 60 before the game shipped...
http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...
apparently it's had a pretty small team working on it for most of the time (30-50 in the early years) and only since the Bethesda deal have they upped it to 70 so I wouldn't be surprised if it actually cost less than big games like Assassin's creed Brotherhood which had 300+ people working for just over a year etc.
