Starhawk. The online multiplayer is spectacular, innovative and fun. I expected it to do better because it offers something else than all those military shooters, not to mention that it actually runs great to with options like a gameserver list, but the game didn't get a lot of attention. Also because Sony didn't advertise. But still, with a great open beta I expected more gamers to know about this gem.
Poor Bob, he now has to pay for female company. And if he wants more, he's gotta pay extra!

4 new consoles, the Wii U and PC...multiplatform developers won't go home early next gen. And poor Lens of Truth:) N4G will be full of versus vs versus articles, comparisons and salesfigures. Plus new factions in the consolewar, it's gonna get messy.
Same here, it's nice when they pop-up now & then, especially with a game you already played multiple times or hundreds of hours, like hey what did I do? And funny trophies are more welcome than hard-to-get trophies, those find 100 grinding trophies. Keep-em.

MS has to release a new xBox next year, they're not developing for 360 anymore besides Gears of War, which is the main reason I sold my xBox last week. Good times, but without new games, new IP's, I decided to get the cash while still possible.
And there's a good chance a significant portion of hardcore fans will not buy the new xBox day one because of what happened at the start of this gen, they might want to wait for the first reports on reliability this time.

Joel alone on the box would be dumb, the girl is one of the two main characters, she belongs on the cover period. And wasn't this gen not all about getting mom & dad into gaming, grandparents, women in general? This box art attracts both sexes looking for a special game, imo it alrady promises a good story with both of them on the cover. And people who only go for macho boxart will probably not like this game, they usually don't like running out of ammo, so no reason trying to sel...
The soldiers in the trailer look the same as the soldiers in the trailer for Ground Zero's, same for the helicopter. "This pirate crackdown is a go", and a hook for an arm is a pirate trademark, just like an eye-patch.

I think Starhawk is the most innovating game of 2012, and a proper sequel to Warhawk. The MP is fresh, different. Finally something else than all those military shooters out there.

PS3 didn't just have Blu ray at launch, but also a harddisk and HDMI. And not just one particular version, but all PS3's. I hope PS4 has a simmilar basic standard, but 4k? I'm not sure, I don't see people upgrade to 4k tellies as fast as we went from SD to HD. Imo a 1080p 60fps standard would be enough for PS4, we hardly got that this gen, not even with WipEout HD.
Announce WipEout 4K3D and I'll start robbing and looting.

Andibandit missed the very first big red cross I'm afraid:) I know the Wii-U's long list of nono's take all the attention but look at that very first game in the list, I mean ouch! that's gotta hurt. He doesn't get to play the bandit, at least not for a while.
