It's a bit shady I have to agree. A camera that can film a person in full HD @ 30fps and recognize that person's voice, a microphone that's always on, perhaps only to 'hear' a few certain commands but it's stil on, and the fact the console needs to connect once a day to the internet to work.
Why? Why not let us push ONE freaking button and THEN everything is on? Or some things, just what we want.

Minus the drifting racestyle, some particle effects and balloons they finally got Forza up on par with GT. 5 definitely, 6 maybe. 7, who knows? We'll see the first real nextgen GT game by the time Forza 6 comes out.
You don't have to switch the damn thing off, play some music instead:)

And how is Kinect supposed to work?
Take a favourite genre, say FPS. Kinect 2.0 can detect the movement of your body, your stance, your limbs and all 10 fingers, all very precise.
Now here come the Locust, the Covenant, the terrorists. On Blu ray, so they keep on coming. How are you going to put them down? By pulling imaginary triggers and mimicing every combatmove on your carpet? Fun for one night, precise for one hour, after that people will go back to play...
Yup, and this is a tough thing to say, but after TLoU is Gold somebody should just grab Naughty Dog's PS3 devkits and run for it.
Good good but nothing beats running to the closest videogamestore after work and grab that copy, hand it over, slide the card & push the numbers, grab it back and run home. And then you install.

Looks very good. Now I would like to see it running at 60fps. I hope the game supports the current GT wheel, and that the controls are somewhere in between MotorStorm and Gran Turismo (that can be a lot) but not like Grid.
No that has to be The Last of Us, one of a kind, and besides, there's a good chance that when GT6 launches by the end of this year it will do so alongside a new Forza game, nextgen material. Nothing has been confirmed of course, but we'll hear soon.
I assume the 2 pumba's who disagreed with us bought it day one, played on normal, got stuck & asked for a patch to help-em out:)
Sad thing is they got it. But nevermind, I noticed it to with God of War 3. Big expensive game, bigger audience needed, make it a bit easier, we see that all the time. But not really a problem if there's a higher difficulty available, one that's fair.
Play on Hard, otherwise you'll walk through the game without any real problems untill chapter 28 where your skills will be tested. Oh and pull out the internetcable, you do not want to finish that chapter post-patch.

I read they have a PS4 version in mind for later, but if MS releases a nextgen Forza game by the end of this year they will have a fieldday.
GT6 is made for PS3, no way GT6 was downscaled from a superior version and because GT is all about great graphics the first GT game for PS4 will not be an upscaled PS3 game.
GT6 releases for PS3 by the end of 2013, small chance on early 2014. GT7 for PS4 will be released in 2016 at the earliest.
And that my fellow GT fans, that is sad news. I'm sorry but I just can't see things going another way, GT5.2 is coming up and a nextgen GT isn't even in Y...
You wish. GT6 is made for PS3 and "optimizing" a PS3 game for PS4 is perhaps possible, but will never get you the results you would get when developing for PS4. Not acceptable, especially for a GT game.
GT6 when it releases later this year is already optimised, for PS3. There is no GT for PS4, and there won't be for a looong time. PD will get their brake, I certainly am not going to deny them their brake, and after that they will ask Sony for a devkit and start ...
The track from which GT for PS4 will be announced still needs to be planned & build, I heard it will be in Japan.
I like GT5, I'm looking out for the PS4, but why Sony? Why make us wait another 3 or 4 years before we get to play our nextgen GT on our nextgen PS.
A sad day for GT fans, well at least some of us. No GT game for the PS4 for the first 2 or 3 years. Unbelievable Sony and PD are going for a few million PS3 copies where they could have gone for a few hundred thousand PS4's and PS4 copies, increasing every year to millions of consoles and games.
