Vietnam was a joke, it was just a fraction of what full game could have been. But then it wouldn't make any sense to make DLC size of a full game, and then sell it for 15 bucks and make it run through different game.
Core gameplay might stay the same but gameplay is different, and there are people who like modern war and hate sci fi, and there are people who love sci fi and can carel...
No way, if they gonna remake 2142, they better make new full game. I can't stand those tinny crappy over priced DLC which take one game and shove into another game...
That article is just full of fail. I rather buy 10 years old game for 5 to 10 bucks and play that with my friends and bots over LAN than pay subscription for 100th gray/brown shooter that plays the same as 99 before it.
Today games are so dull and repetative, they already get boring just few weeks after the release. The only real way major companies can still pull money out of the fans, is by making "NEW" game every so often, and selling it for 60 bucks + DLC.

Who gives a shit? Does it effect your gameplay? No? That's what I thought. It would be pretty dumb to not use some of the resources that you have made in the past and just discard them.

It wasn't cheezy title. I give you example of "cheezy title", Stronghold 3, now THAT'S a cheezy title, because nothing works in that game.
Everything worked pretty well in KoH, and just few minor problems wouldn't make that game "cheezy", especially when you could simply avoid abusing AI and make the game more interesting for yourself.
The game would be horribly cheesy title if you would know that its broken the minute you star...
"what a horribly cheesy title" what a load of bullshit, the game was Legit, it had its problems but it was pretty damn good, my and my buddies played it a while ago and we all enjoyed it more than all the civilizations or other mainstream games.
I wish they would make sequel and improve on the previous idea of the game, then it would be golden.

Yeah they will milk some money out of the game with 15 bucks DLCs, and then they will let it die so people will be willing to buy BF4. Well at least thats how things work now days.
Well after BF3 turned out to be such a let down for me, I slowly starting to get interested in MW3. Its nothing crazy, but the options that are available for players are very appealing, it looks like it certainly lets you play "The way you want to play" more than BF3 said it would heh
Man, I remember when a benefit of having a console was the fact that you don't have to install anything, you just pop the disk in and play the game, no installations, no hassle with patching.
Now that you have to buy Consoles with large hdd space, you have to install the game, they patch just as frequent as PC games, and after all that the game still will look like lowest settings on PC. Wouldn't it be easier to just get a PC?

That guy if soooo full of shit. PC is not leading platform at all, other then slightly better graphics, everything else is just been ported from console design.
I am not smoking anything. I played both games, and I use my EYES and my BRAIN to see that BC2 looks just fine. BF3 might have more crap on the screen, but it doesn't mean it makes the game better, just more clutter that destructs you from actually enjoying the game.
New =/= Better.
All I see on BF3 screenshots is blurry sun glare crap all over the screen. Other than that, BC2 looks really good, its nice and clean.
Yep same here, most of my friends played first couple CoD games, but they are smart enough to realize that everything else is just same game re skinned and sold for price of full game.
We still having blast with CoD 2 over Lan once in a while, and that's good enough.
