The free version of Ernesto is so impressive for just week of work. I really think that a game like it has so much potential. There are so many possibilities with what you could do with the tiles, different combinations and so on, that I would think that the game could someday have countless levels to explore.

And of course, Storyteller is just brilliant as well. I really hope that it's a success when it comes out. I think it would be amazing if sometime in the future the...

Thanks for the interview! I had hoped to hear when Storyteller would be coming out, but I'll just check his site for updates now and then I guess. I really hope that these two games are a success for Daniel. He's got some really cool and innovative ideas for games.

Oh, and regarding Ernesto's release date, I'm guessing Daniel saying "It should happen before the end of 2013." is a typo? (Or was this interview a good while ago?)

I really like what I saw in that Storyteller video. Having to achieve the story objective or even multiple objectives with just a small number of elements... it's like a new type of puzzle game. I'm definitely gonna be keeping an eye out for it.

Interesting demos, I've never played anything quite like them. I like the concept of Storyteller a lot; very simple, but intriguing. Thanks for all the great giveaways, N4G!

Thanks for the write-up; there was a lot about this game that I didn't know. I had no idea that the original creator of Shadowrun was behind this new game! And he bought the rights to Shadowrun back?? That's awesome :D I'm so glad that Kickstarter exists for projects like Shadowrun Returns. Once again, I gotta look into getting this game soon!

That's interesting how the basic tapletop rules don't always translate to games very well. I would have thought that tapletop rules in games would work out pretty well since they're just die-rolls, character sheets and so on. Game development is always so much harder than one thinks!

It's great that they were able to reduce some of the apparent linearity of the base game with the expansion as well. Thanks for the interview, it was a good read.

I really like a lot of I saw in that trailer. They really captured the look and feel of the old SNES/Genesis Shadowrun games with this new one, and gave it a great modern update. I really hope that this new Shadowrun game has been enough of a success so that we could continue to see more of it in the future.

Shadowrun? Awesome! The old SNES game is such a great game for its time, and I was really glad to see Shadowrun come back with this game. I really gotta try it sometime. Thanks again, N4G!

Brilliant crossover! xD That was fantastic. Octodad and SpyParty are a perfect match for each other. I loved how at the end you got to see behind the scenes and hear the actors talking nonsense to each other to make it look like they were discussing something. Thanks for the laughs!

Man, this article makes this game sound even more fun than I thought it would be :D I love the concept of controlling each limb separately. Just having to walk about in a game would be such a new experience with a control scheme like that (as Octodad clearly shows!). I gotta get this game soon, it looks so good!

Octodad certainly caught my attention when I first saw it. It just made me laugh right away. I just loved how unique it was and it looked like a lot of fun. I'm really glad that Octodad got the attention from the gaming community that such a new game idea deserved :)

Torchlight II is really such a great game. I thought that the classes were perfectly done; truly diverse and fun, with so many ways to play them. And yeah, the environment, weather and atmosphere were great too. Not to mention the multiplayer! So fun :D I totally agree with your recommendation at the end, everyone should definitely pick this game up!

Sounds like a great place to work for :) That's wonderful how anyone can pitch an idea and everyone can speak their mind. Thank you, to you and everyone at Runic for making such great games!

I loved the pets in Torchlight II (Favorite was the Badger). That's great that they kept adding their new pet ideas into the game. I'm really interested to see where Runic goes with their new game, and I'm really happy to hear that they have future plans for the Torchlight series!

I certainly saw something special in Torchlight II when I first saw it. Then I got it and I was amazed at just how good Torchlight II was. Its core design was just so convenient and its gameplay was really fun (especially with a friend). I'm really hoping for a sequel someday!

Broken Age is such a beautiful looking game. I was so happy to see that it was funded so successfully on Kickstarter.

I really like the stark contrast between the worlds of the two protagonists (it almost looks like two different games at times), it really makes me curious to see as to how their two stories are connected. I'm gonna be really interested to see what the second act is like as well.

And I'm interested in winning: Broken Age, Hack 'n&#...

This game just looks fantastic to me. It completely reminds me of some old sim games that I played when I was a kid. I just love the concept of starting out with just a few people, and using their particular abilities to gradually build a space station.

It's awesome how you even have to be in control of even tiny details like proper air production, and even deal with the R&R of your residents. I'm really looking forward to this game :)

And I'm...

Hack n' Slash has to be one of the most original games that I have seen in ages. I wonder, is it the first game to attempt such a gameplay concept? 'cause it's absolutely brilliant!

Using a USB sword to change the commands and values of enemies, and other items to peer into the underlying code is just... so darn cool! And through the encouraged reverse engineering of the game's code, you can actually crash the game? I think I'm gonna tear up at how awesome...
