I am not too much on to the graphics, and just bought WKC. Its pretty good so far, altough the single player campaing could use a bit harder difficulty and a new story writer could be nice.

Love that fact that I can make my own avatar and use it in the single player tough. Also there are close to none mmorpg games on consoles so having games likes these doesn't hurt.

wishlist for the sequel:
- Better plot
- Difficulty of single-player cam...

This is hard question to give a honest answer. The gaming could be a lot different if Sony would have launched a cheaper unit. However cheaper unit would have ment.
- lack of Blu-ray or cell
- later launch ( and use some extra time to improve production(cheaper manufacturing))

However its still hard to tell whether the choice was good as there's still plenty of time for Ps4. Not to mention Ps4 may take advantage on the things that sony used for Ps3 like Ce...

Yeah bought mine from UK (since they have prices 1/4th of finnish gameshops (70€ for new game vs 40€))

Agarest is priced around 20£-25£ in many uk stores

thats what? 29$ ?

Then why is there a disc based version of the game
(yes fully translated one in english + japanese voices)

Then buy the European version, it works fine with HD-tv and you can get it around the same price range (or cheaper). It may lack some bonus content and trophies but its pretty much the same game.

if your unable to import the game from shops such as gamestation.co.uk or blahdvd.com (there are others, but these I use frequently for my imports)
you could use http://www.ncsxshop.com/cgi.....

From Software is probably busy with Armored Core5 and some secret projects atm. And they even made 3D dot heroes which just got released in US/EU.

gotta love the new direction of from software and their studios,

I don't consider myself a fanboy, however I do admit I am somewhat a Microsoft hater. However this only means that I try to avoid their products and vote with my wallet not bash the system or its users.

I simply see no point in running around in random forums bashing a system like X360 which I know very little about, and I am more than willing to accept that there are plenty of good games I would love to try on that system (Halo, Alan wake, Splinter cell, Viva Piñata...

Sony has plenty of developers on their sleeves. If the HD versions are anything like god of war hd, its possible that a separate team will be doing the port like bluepoint games who ported god of war 3 for Ps3.

However 2011 for last guardian would be my guess as well. Not much details have been told about the game yet, so its probably in early development phase.

HD Team ICO collection sounds sweet tough, missed the original Ps2 versions, so would get a secon...

@El botto

It's actually more about publishers, not developers. Sony has been publishing so the games have been Playstation only. However when EA is publishing its possible that the IP stays within Insomniacs hands, unlike with Resistance and Ratchet which are pretty much property of SCE as far as I have understood.

However people should focus more on the game than the multi-platform aspect. Can't wait to see what insomniac is goin...

I wouldn't make any comparisons to GTA with this. Yes the name carries the name of Japanese mafia, and its big part of the plot. However the game is nothing like GTA. You get to roam free in towns but its pretty restricted to roaming as you can't steal cars, whack the random people passing by, or anything related to that.

Only similarities with GTA
- Open world (although towns of Yakuza3 are not that big, but they serve their purpose and have a lot of details...

Running around the 2(?) cities with stunning amount of detail and things to do is really something. But the best part of the game seems to be in story and characters, and in general uniqueness.

It starts slow but throws the player missions which they probably haven't done in any game before. Some related to solving the problems of the orphanage, some related to just helping people with their problems, which are very different from general "go there kill people",...

@IcarusOne
Great post

However most of these can barely be considered erotic games. They offer maybe few minutes as in Few pictures of H-scenes while focusing more on the story. (which surprisingly is often better than in most modern games )
After trying out visual novels such as Sharin no kunin, Fate stay night, Tsukihime, Family project etc etc. I would be more than happy to see more acceptance for these kinds of games.

Shame? There's far...

Looks good, looking forward to this. Gotta Finish that record of Agarest war tough, too many games and yet so little time (game buffer at 15+ atm :s). Agarest has been decent so far, but this looks way better.

people should not take these "this game is exclusive to *insert system here" things seriously. We all saw how exclusive games Star Ocean4, Final fantasy XIII where. There are probably far more examples than these.

I find it very childish of people blame hackers on this since they are just modifying their own consoles. Its their system they can do what they want with it, they accept the risks getting banned and the fact that they will loose all guarantees etc for their system.

Its Sony that decided to remove the feature, not to mention the hack was only to improve Linux on Ps3 by unlocking the full power of the console from the stupid restrictions provided by Sony. It was still very far fro...

Actually yes, as piracy is usually a lot smaller crime than creating viruses and stealing personal info or publishing private information.
Not to mention blackmail.

Depends a bit on the laws of the country tough. Dunno if your allowed to shoot a thief in US. But then again this is probably not done by any of the videogame developers (if it were, they would get their *ss sued so hard that the pirate would never have to pirate another game in their life)

Gotta a...

It's a good game so I don't really see why not. I accept all good games to my platform of choice. It's still a good game even if it never comes to Ps3.

I see this as silly question, as why would some1 not want a game for their system, its not like you are forced to buy it.

Hm, I expected as much though. In todays society, asking for moral consideration is asking to be attacked by athiests. And the only arguments they seem to be able to produce are "Bu bu bu teh crusades", "Bu bu bu persecution" or "Bu bu bu you cant force your morals on me. (showing their lack of understanding about what the crusades were about, lack of knowledge about anti christian persecution and showing how illogical and inconsistent athiesm ...

I mean Doom3 is only half-life copy with wannabe Doom setting. It simply forgot everything that make Doom1 and 2 great. Original Doom had superb level design, great arsenal of different weapons that did much to standardize even the current gen game weaponry. Even the setting where the player was trying to survive from moon which had teleported to hell is unique even today.

IT had no single retarded element as the "flashlight" which really only worsened the game, I can't...
