I liked the multiplayer in crysis 2, never played the first one cause I only have a ps3. The only real problem i had with it was none of my friends bought it so i was always playing by myself, so it got boring. I didn't make it through the single player cause my ps3 crapped out and lost all my info so i never replayed to the end. If they can make a few improvements i would buy just for the multiplayer.

Thats way off dude. I care about graphics a lot. I only own a ps3 because i dont make enough money to keep up with more than one gaming station or keep a computer rig up to date and i loved my ps2 so i made the decision to use ps3. That just seems like a really stupid statement. If console owners/makers didn't care about graphics we would all still just have an atari.
I never said it was a bad game, i just dont get into them as much and wondered if i could get some inteligent discusion about why others do. I agree to a point, mabey im just being closed minded on the subject but i get bored with games like this after a while, so i tend not to buy them or really get into them at all. It just seems weird in todays world of extreme graphics and photorealism that game like this get the hype that they do. there is the occasional one i like but i agree that they should not dominate the market. I see them more as something to draw the casual gamer into the console/pc world.

I dont understand why we went through like 4 or 5 console generations to get the great graphics and gameplay that we have today just to end up with everyone loving games that look like something on an atari 2600.

Thats a ridiculous statement, the cell processor in the ps3 has a completely different structure and works in a different way between the cpu and gpu. One has an hddvd player and one has a blu ray. one has a hard drive the other has none.
