I see these articles all the time and the only time it seems i couldn't log on was during the hack when it was down for a month.
why is the disc tray a deal breaker? Is the disc getting sucked in really that important? Honestly i think they should have gone with a top loader in the first place just to cut costs so they wouldnt have launched at 600 dollars. I bought one anyway but still there was a lot of the tech in it was just fluff to look impressive.

I think the cell processor and Blu ray are the real reasons it launched at such a high price point. Both were new technologies and the tech was very expensive and then the cell was so different that no one knew how to program for it so the game library was pathetic for a year or two.

Honestly I think proper lighting effects do more for a game than the greatest graphics. It brings a greater sense of realism into a game if the lighting is right.

I think you only get that because of the lighting effects. His hair also looks gray in those shots and I believe the fox team said that is only because of the lighting in that scene. If you think about it he is in the dark with a lot of lights in front of him so you would have a lot of reflections from the water. We just have to wait and see i guess. Most of the things i have seen are stating it will be out on current gen equiptment. I am excited eiter way because the demo looks stunning. And if that's what can be done on current gen, that just makes me even more excited for next gen. But ill wait because there are some really good looking titles that are coming out for current hardware. There's still life in them stop trying to kill them off.

its more expensive and only by like 20 dollars because it has a hdd thats twice the size of the previous slim, 4 times the size if you buy the 500 gig. You cant expect them to stick a 50 or 100 dollar hdd into them and just eat it right. I think they are just trying to get as much as they can out of it for the holidays and still be under cutting a new wii u. They are going for the people that are penny pinching for the holiday.
