I kind of agree, I don't know a lot of people that maintain more that one gaming system of the same generation. I'm not going to go buy an xbox just so i can play COD with marginally better textures. So agreed, its just to flame the fires. The only thing it really shows us is who the devs are that actually have decent programmers or if they just got lazy with a peticular version.
I haven't bought the last 3 Callofpoopy titles because they can't ever seem to get it right and I'm glad I've saved myself the 100plus dollars again. Now I can spend my money on something good.
I can really appriciate this article because he's right. I think the narrative in a lot of stories is tacked on and an easy go-to is the "savior" bit. I would much rather the main protagonist be and underdog that has to fight and persevere through everthing the game throws at you. It seems more like a challenge and holds you in suspense as you wonder if you can make it through.
why not its not like you have to pay extra. all you have to do is preorder. If your going to get it already its a no brainer.

If the rumors are true than the ps4 is being built with more affordable hardware and the production costs of the actual console should be much better than with the ps3 launch so at least they learned their lesson with the 600 dolllar launch price. And with the developer friendly engines being made for next gen should help with dev costs and production times. Which hopefully should equate to better games pumped out faster. The driving physics in 4 were a horrible attempt at realistic physics. I would love actual re alistic driving physics and I hope they get it right this time.

They are claiming that the PS3 is the lead platform in designing the game. To my knowledge they havent even announced a PC version yet. That's getting me pretty excited about these screens that are coming out because they look awsome. I hope my ps3 looks this good.

I've been playing the beta for dust 514 the new FTP game on ps3. The menus and how to buy things for your epuiptment are very confusing and you have to spend real money to use voice chat. Its actually kind of annoying because you have to replenish inventory items and dropsuits and all kinds of stuff. Most can be done with in game credit but I would rather just play socom or call of duty i think.
I have to ageee, cod and the like are rated 17+ for a reason. I.m not saying its right but if you put yurself in a situation you shouldnt be in your the one at fault if anything happens.

I think thats the whole point of the ps4 if the rumors are true they will be building with cheap to produce AMD processors it think. Ones that are known to perform great and are easy to use for devs. That way they can pump out games and have a cheaper to produce console and lots of software sales.
There have been lots of devs that can get as good or better performance out of a ps3 over the xbox360. It is possible to get great performance out of both of them.
