Activition is one Evil F@ck'n company man!!!!! I think IW is better of splitting anyway.
I think once we all see actual gameplay well see the difference. I trust Platinum games they some pretty awesome stuff.
I actually think they are one of the few game design studios left concerned with making fun and innovative games rather than just a profit (ahem- Activition)
You guys do remember Viewtiful Joe, Okami, Resident Evil and Devil May Cry dont you!? We need more developers like Platinum.
Personally with Bayonetta the Only issue I ever had with it was the extreme amount of loading it did. The recent patch fixed it though other than that-
It is a very enjoyable game with an excellent combat system and control scheme.... Never quite understood all the hate. I have ALWAYS been a HUGE fan of everything Devil May Cry BUT I was massively disappointed with DMC4.
Bayonetta was a great game for what it was. I think alot of people are a little TOO harsh on the PS3 ...
I think that even if it was legit the smart thing for MS to do would be to change ThePro's account name. Now especially because people are going to constantly question everything he does. Which will make MS look bad anyway because people will eventually wonder why they havent fired him.

No I just think he wants everyone to know what the Pro did. He is basically sending a message to all those that did support the Pro at first, that he may be a little corrupt after all.

I dont think its just that peoples expectations were just too high, to be fair I believe MS and Bungie hyped it to no end.
Now I will be the first to admit that Reach's gameplay looks cool especially the assassinations (Im a melee kind of guy). And the graphics do look like they have improved, notably the lighting. But all in all it looks more or less the same. Which isn't bad... Halo lovers will buy it and they should.

...that or syphon filter. Those two games are the only ones that would be considered "surprises".
Starhawk would be nice but I just dont see SONY annoucing that one just after MAG...maybe at E3?

Heavy Rain is an excellent game it has essentially accomplished something no other game has really done before. The emotional connection between the player and the characters he/she controls. I cant think of the last time I cared about every single one of the characters in a movie let alone a videogame.

True I may not have the most positive feelings about MW2 BUT it did make Activition a ridiculous lump of cash and now they are just going to fire its workers?? WTF man.
Greed is a destroyer and eventually Activition will reap what is has sown I'm sure of it. But in the mean time I cant in good faith purchase anything from them after hearing about all this non sense.

Hopefully SONY will buy up Quantic Dream next. With the success that Heavy Rain has been having I wouldn't be at all surprised. Quantic I think would make an excellent addition to the already high quality game studios in league with SONY.
