BBC2 graphics in single player are quite good your right, however in multiplayer they are pretty horrible. The down scale is VERY noticable. Standing far away from objects you might not notice it. But as you move closer to walls you'll notice the textures are off, everything gets jaggy, even the foliage looks like a paper cut out. They aren't the worst Ive seen but the point I was trying to make earlier is that in all these reviews of MAG everyone states the the graphics are horrendous and sh...
Congratz glad you made that switch. And you will be to
I actually just played the BBC2 demo and I have to say I was not all that impressed(And by the way the graphics are pretty damn bad). MAG is an excellent game and Ive had countless hours of entertainment with it so far and I do not regret buying it. MAG may not be YOUR cup of tea or you just haven't actually played it I get that. But surely sir it does not suck.
About a month ago I was sure I would buy BBC2 too in March; now I know I Definitely will not be. Its just a game (th...
It is harsh.
After that fiasco of a review they did for MAG Im not inclined to believe anything they say. From my brief time with just the multiplayer free for all demo it seemed pretty good. It harkened back to the old FPS era for me... no auto aim assist or looking down the sights I enjoyed it. But seriously both IGN and GameInformer can kiss my a$$.
Guys name one just ONE japanese game (and it doesnt have to be an rpg) that has done very well on the 360. Hell even Bayonetta did better on the Ps3 and it was supposedly the inferior version.
See thats the thing for me while I liked the first one, I found it to be seriously over hyped. The story was excellent. The Bid Daddies were awesome. Other than that the whole damn thing had been done before. The game to me was essentially Deus Ex set in an alternate WW2 era. Since I loved Deus Ex I enjoyed Bioshock, I just didnt find it ground breaking or a "must have". But I suppose to those who had never played or even heard of Deus Ex or System shock it would be a "must hav...
The only way it will "fail" is it were a horrible game. Given the track record of the developers with Indigo I highly doubt it. I wish people would stop equating failure with sales. Demons Souls is the perfect example, it didn't sell EXTREMELY well but it IS one of the greatest RPG's of all time hands down. People will remember it 10 years from now and compare other games to its steep difficulty and dark atmosphere. THAT in my opinion is what makes a game a success or not; when your...
You know...you could be right From Software tends to go a little over the top with their sequels and completely change the game. Lol over the years Ive watched them destroy my once beloved franchise (Armored Core)over and over again.
But I still want them to make another Demons Souls. I love that game!
Im pretty sure they will announce it some time this year...I have a feeling about these kinds of things.
Lol since when does 7 mean decent or even average for that matter? You guys are spoiled by all those ill deserved 9's and 10's reviewers throw about. On a scale from 1 to 10; 7 is actually quite good. (though IMO I believe MAG deserves at least an 8)
5 or 6 would be considered just decent because its smack dab in the middle of the spectrum. See what happens when some reviewers mess up the scale!
Its just not going to happen. Similar to how Call of Duty just isnt going to sell well over there. I agree with a statement above. Moving FFXIII to the 360 wasnt the smartest idea for square enix. Especially considering the games scheduled to be released that month. One in particular that 360 consumer are just going to eat up (Battle Field Bad CO. 2)
Thats awesome lol
So its not just the MAG articles you creep through after all! I knew you loved SONY!
dude your pathetic. LOL seriously. you go through ALL the ps3 threads and say such meaningless things. Do you have anything else better to do with your life? Or is it something else???
.... I think you really want a Playstaion 3 so you can play
MAG. Thats why you always check up on it. Its Ok..I understand. You dont have to pretend any longer. =)
Me and my friend said the exact same thing. When we first started up the battle field demo and squaded up. The very first thing we noticed were the graphics. In comparison to MAG they are pretty bad, which I dont quite understand because in BFBC2 it like what 32 players? MAG is that times like 8, AND theres alot more happening on screen. The textures and lighting were much nicer and the player design quality were about the same. I urge you guys to seriously play both!
I was kin...
I doubt there will ever be any DLC for demons souls considering how long its been out in japan =(
But something tells me that at e3 this year it will be announced that the sequel is coming. I think that Demons Souls did way better than From Software originally thought it would. =)
Lol I didn't say they were evil. I just think it to be somewhat of a marketing strategy. I do think the only person to blame in this situation would be the consumer for allowing another individual to decide what you want to buy based on a meaningless score.
Thats all no conspiracy theory.
It was fresh and new (especially since I dont know japanese) I will actually be picking this up over Final Fantasy at launch, which looks...well..it just aint doing it for me.
I have this feeling deep in my gut...that I will not agree with this review score once I play it. It sounds like more of the same to me. Youd think it would loose points for that.
Id say that I have to agree with pretty much every thing said in article. The review just seemed like its entire purpose was to smear out another first person so that BBC2 would seem more enticing to consumers. Lol journalism at it finest right? But then again I never really went to GameInformer for gems of wisdom or advice anyway.
But I gotta say Im glad that all this controversy is surrounding AVP and MAG. It shows people they really need to think for themselves and jump off ...
