Mass Effect and this huh?
I have this game it deserves a 7/10. Its GTA 4 reskinned with cowboys and horses and glitchy as hell.
Not a bad game but dont buy into the hype.
well actually I find that many of the time and maybe its just me, but often games that are rated 9 through 10 are vastly overrated (i.e. Red dead redemption, Gears of war, Bioshock, Modern Warfare, halo and Final Fantasy 13) while these are good games to me they in no way deserve the score they got.
However on the opposite end of the spectrum you generally have games like MAG (my personal current favorite.) Resonance of fate, Army of two: 40th day and Suikoden 3 which not unl...

As for me...I think Ill reserve my judgments until I play it in the next few days.
Bubbles for you sir well said!!! I own ME1 and played me2 and while good games to me they arent rpg's but more like shooters.
It seems that everyday I come on this site and someone is claiming it to be the best rpg of all time. And of course thats all fine and well only...its a shooter with lite rpg elements! lol.
But to each his own I guess. Still love my Demons Souls though.

This partnership would truly be revolutionary if it happens, the possibilities with the ps3 or game platform with android are endless.
And truly this could become not only a huge problem for Microsoft but Apple too if they manage to somehow link these features with the android phones

thats because people arent playing it anymore. I love MAG but zipper need to do a better job at keeping the comunity entertained. After all thats what make MAG so great its Massive. These updates should have come out a while ago.

Its a good game but this is like telling me Fallout 3 ISNT oblivion with guns.

LOL You remember when the deducted points from MAG dont you?
They called it glitchy and IGN I believe took away points because of the type of people they were grouped with in matches.
It didnt matter that many problems were patched up later they only cared about the out of the box experience. But now here with Red no one, NO ONE mentioned these types of glitches in the MP. In fact many people here on N4g are saying oh well..they should have it fixed by the end of the ...
Ive played both GOW3 and ME2 and I dont think either hold a candle to Heavy Rain. =)
Heavy Rain deserves the title of GOTY for a number of reasons, but you have to respect a new IP that accomplished what it did.
When is the last time you cared about ALL your characters and wanted to see them through to the very end. How many times have the choices you made actually meant something to you?
Red does have a pretty good SP going for it MP is horrible (good when it works) But other than that I cant shake the feeling that its just GTA all over again just with horses. This doesnt mean its bad just not all that original. How quickly we forget.
Heavy Rain on the other hand at least IMO will be game of the year. I cant think of very many flaws other than a few plot holes in the story. Stellar game and original concept and new genre.
LOl first dude last night i couldnt even connect with my friends to play MP. Second, the few games I somehow managed to get in all players and NPC's were invisible. Let me ask you, how do you have a shoot out with invisible badguys? I think that means its unplayable.
I said the same thing yesterday! To be fair though RDR has a very good SP going for it but online is horrendous. I couldnt even connect with my friends last night to play MP.
If i have to pay 60 a pop for a game the least they could do is make sure it works damnit.
And i dont understand why this wasnt fixed BEFORE the game shiped!? Im sure Rockstar encountered the exact same MP problems I have long before I ever even played it.

The initial reports of natal did say it didnt work so well with people of darker complexion.
Hope they did fix that.
