Just what I always wanted?
Terrible title. You should really try to give readers SOME idea of what the article. This is a really good article, but it's hidden behind a title that will never be able to pick up steam.
Japan loves them some Monster Hunter.
Yeah, I loved Halo 2 and Modern Warfare, but I thought both sequels were botched a bit.
I never thought it would happen, again! I think Modern Warfare had the title for a while back in early 2008, but since then Halo 3 has been pretty much untouchable.
That is kinda true. It isn't AS BAD as Madden, but in terms of games as a whole it's a reliable cash crop that Nintendo seldom passes on.
I think it's funny that the Zelda series hasn't yet gotten a reputation for being pimped out (like Madden of Final Fantasy) when in reality they have been one of the worst offenders.
They've got Japanese coders working sweat shop hours to get these games out annually.
Yeah, however I still think this is a subject that needs to be talked about a lot more in gaming. Whether that means the censorship side, or the bigotry side.
I think that probably has less to do with being a hardcore gamer than the fact that everyone plays games. If they don't play video games then they're into boardgames. And that's not a fair comparison. The world vs D&D players.
Cruddy games rarely beget cruddy games.
Now if they were REALLY smart, they'd start working out deals with Media Molecule to release their own really well designed interpretations of the IP. A lot like the Metal Gear Solid thing that's coming out.
I've never understood Silent Hill. I've tried a few of the games, and none of them stuck with me. I think it was partially the bad animations that took me out of the experience.
IMO the last thing games like this need to be is longer than they already are. To me they're already unbearable because they're impossible to finish.
No DJ Stryker from Burnout 3? That guy is a mega star in my universe.
Does anyone else think it kind of looks like she's got menstrual blood on the bottom of her dress? Kinda gross, but...yeah it kinda looks like that.
True, but it's notable because they THINK they are creating an average woman from the era.
All I said is that they weren't normal on skinny women in 1940s wartime France. As I said before, boobs just simply weren't that big until fast food became popular.
Implants weren't invented until the 70s! Velvet Assassin takes place in the 40s!
So D-Cups and a 20 inch waist are what the Velvet Assassin team considers normal and realistic? Good god, D-Cups on skinny women didn't even exist until fast food became popular.
This is a good article, but I suspect it may be too thoughtful for many N4G users.
