They should have stopped after the first Fable. The second one was so slow and boring. Combat was lame. etc.

The thing about making a hugely successful game like KZ2 is that you can do anything you want afterwards. Think Calling All Cars or Hail to the Chimp would have gotten published if they weren't being helmed by the creators of God of War and Halo (respectively: Jaffe, and Alex Seropian.)
Why should he stay at the Killzone factory and work on KZ3 when he can go off and pursue his dream projects knowing full well that every publisher will be falling over themselves for the right to...
It was probably made up by the fansite it originated on. They're trying to say that MS only had exclusivity on the Downloadable version, but Sony can still get it in stores...pure ridiculousness.

This review is really sound in judgement, but I disagree with the priority with which he rates things. He comes out and says that the single player is pretty bad and generic, while the multiplayer is a 10. That doesn't equal a 9 to me. Like I said though, that's just a difference in opinion between me and the writer.
IT's tough because this really becomes cyclical. They make crappy sequels, and then the franchise piddles out and doesn't sell as well anymore. Then they have nothing left because they weren't broadening their portfolio looking for their next big franchise.

It wont help as much as you'd think. Like it or not, consumers have a general "feeling" about how expensive consoles are, and most people still dont even look into the PS3 because it's the "expensive" one.
I stopped playing Halo 3 looong ago. It's hard to imagine folks still be that gungho about it.

This game has gotten way too little publicity. The sequel to one of the best FPSs ever made, and the single greatest movie-game translation in history.
That would be the correct emotion, then. This game will NOT live up to expectations.
