True, but they're also developing the first in the series on PS3, which means they have little experience with this machine, and more importantly, they'll have to create a lot of their own engines. Which can take a very long time.
And if this came out in the early fall that would make the dev time a little more than two years. Which would be pretty quick if you have to make a new graphics engine too. I'm not saying they can't or they wont get it out that fast, but I think it's u...

Notice that I said "He's right." And then proceeded to talk about why games don't need cutscenes. The author said we DO need cutscenes. This should have lead you to see that I was talking about Spielberg (male), not the author (female.)
I'm not sure I understand your complaint. Rumor Killers is for people who like to read about, and discuss industry rumors. Why would it not include rumors, start rumors, and make predictions? That's kind of the point.
heh. We all know that at least 25 million of those are Japanese PSPs that were bought due to their completely illogical fixation on Monster Hunter.
The rest are people who bought it, and have only pulled it out since for Crisis Core and Chains of Olympus.
If Sony insists on getting themselves back into the handheld market with PSP2 then I hope they at least learned a few lessons from the failure of the first. (e.g. a handheld game is a different type of game all together. You can't just make crappy, dumbed down versions of console games. There's a difference.)
It's always funny to see the illogical sludge that gets tossed at gamers on a regular basis.
One small step for games...one giant leap for gamer kind.
I can understand wanting to cater towards the more unknown games, but there are two HUGANTIC omissions on this list. Seriously, they're friggen humongous.
I'm really excited to see what they're going to be putting out.
Or she will do what the real Violet Szabo did, and sneak up on Nazi's and kill them. Don't underestimate Violet, man. All their base was belong to her.
I still think it's cruddy the way they are taking all of the good parts of this woman's life, and replacing everything that isn't useful to them with petty sensationalism.
I wish people would realize that realistic heroes/heroines are where it's at. Just look at the love and fervor that sprang up around Alyx Vance and Gordon Freeman.
I don't care what anyone says, he's right. Cutscenes in games are a cop out. They're utterly illogical. They are a perfect showcase for the inadequacies of modern games, and the obstacles we need to overcome if this medium is to be fully realized.
There's a huge hole in the snowboarding video game genre. There hasn't been a really good one that brought something new to the table since 1080 Snowboarding on the N64.
Heavy Rain is going to be junk and we all know it deep down. Alan Wake has a chance though.
It takes just as much teamwork, but you've got to admit, these guys play Quake (or whatever game) for years, but professional sports players play their entire lives.
Gamers need to at least consider the possibility that games are harmful though. Because most just ignore the issue and convince themselves that others are using them as a scapegoat rather than considering the other side of the argument.
As scientists we must concede that there is a possibility the attacks could be true. Theoretically.
I can almost guarantee that will happen. Some group will call for an "evaluation of the effectiveness" of this program.
This game is actually really amazing. I started playing it a month ago, and it's really quite cool. Guilds can control major cities and then wage war on other guild-controlled major cities.
That's like some sort of odd "world-informed-emo-kid&q uot; comment.
