I just think it's amazing. Imagine if somebody told you 10 years ago that the developer of TimeSplitters was going out of business. It would be like someone saying right now that Bungie would be out of work.
Halo Wars is going to suck most likely. You're forgetting the DECADES of history junky RTSs have on consoles.
I still have a really good feeling about this one. Thank god there's no Wii version this time. God that thing sucks.
There are some CUH-LASSICS on this list. Some of my favorite games of all time. It's a shame I already own them lol so I can't get too excited about low prices.
If Bioshock 2 has Multiplayer I'm going to /wrists. The number one thing they got wrong with the original was focusing too much on action and shooting, so if they introduced a whole new mode based purely on shooting, it would prove that they don't even understand their own game.
Hey, I like two stick shooters...
I hope this works well, because right now XBLA development is a total money toilet, and indie devs are going to start gravitating towards Wiiware and PSN.
I'm usually the most skeptical person around, but I think this game has a really good chance at success. It's not promising revolutions, it's just bloody fun.
I find it hard to believe it wont deliver on bloody fun.
For me this is really the first game since Mario Galaxy that made me actually want to own a Wii.
lol I know right? At this point though, there can't be more than like two guys, one server and a janitor needed to maintain the game so if it's got 10K people paying $10 a months, they're making a fantastic profit.
Not to mention, developing expansion packs for that game must be like developing on Game Gear.
You're not. But you should be. Zelda needs a reboot badly. Twilight Princess was great, but it was so boring and uninspired. It felt like they got bored and just copied Ocarina of Time.
There is no doubt the PS4 is in production. It probably has been for a year at least. Sony is a huge company so they have at least had a few people working on researching PS4 possibilities.
They'd be insane not to. I know they're all about the 10 year life cycle, but they still have to plan for the future.
I have some serious issues with some of the bosses on this list, and some that were omitted.
"if everything is solid for a download/update it only takes about 3 weeks from submission to be certified, this information comes with conversations i've had with actual developers it isn't something im pulling out of thin air"
Methinks thou dost protest too much.
The certification process is all about making sure if you spill soda on the machine while your dog tramples it and the memory card is unplugged at the same time it doesn't crash.
I'm not saying it shouldn't be there, it should just be less strenuous, and MS should lend a hand to the small guy to help them get it done so it doesn't take a year.
You may be partly right, but this is really about how difficult it is for small developers to complete certification. Popcap can do it no problem because they have hundreds of staff, but what about a bunch of non-salary guys working on a game when their only income is the sale of the game?
MS needs to lend a hand to these smaller devs so that they too can complete the process. Otherwise we're robbing XBLA of what made it so special in the first place.
I think I may be crazy, but I kinda think this might be good.
This will have almost nothing to do with the movies. They're just using the name to sell a couple extra copies, and to slightly borrow the setting.
heh. I just hope it doesn't try to be as artsy.
I never play them, I just think they're cute to have around, so I like them.
