Wow, really? Why was this not one of the top stories on n4g?
*facepalm*, n4g
Instead of actual news appearing in the top stories, we get opinion pieces and galleries of skyrim mod girls and sales numbers.
Ugh
Watch Dogs ps4/720 hopefully
Ugh, do we REALLY need to bring more attention to that crappy review? A review from a site I and many others have never even heard of?
The stuff that gets approved here, and especially the stuff that stays at the most popular spots of the website is just flat out embarrassing. Most of the time, like 70% of it is just some crappy opinion of some crappy website that just serves to piss people off. I don't mind crappy opinions/reviews that much, but it annoys the hell out...
I bought Borderlands 2 because I like to enjoy life. Obviously not everyone share my tastes though. Some people (you) find pleasure making hateful and negative comments anonymously on the internet about how people choose to have fun with their lives. Oh yeah, and some people actually have money too, so 30 bucks (or 10 bucks if you only want one of the four dlcs) isn't really that much money when you're having a lot of fun.
I've had an absolute blast with Borderlan...
Question about this game: when you're in open conflict, do the enemies that are chasing you not show up on radar? Because they don't on mine, making escape extremely frustrating, since stopping to look behind me isn't really an efficient way of escaping. I run for like 5 minutes straight, finally getting out of an enemies line of sight (or thinking i am), in a secluded place, with the only red dots on the radar being very far away behind a building where they can't possibly se...
"Jinkies is right in that ND should listen to the PEOPLE ACTUALLY BUYING THE GAME."
In the case of Uncharted, why should they? The people that bought Uncharted 1 and 2 were already going to buy Uncharted 3 for the single player. The people that weren't going to buy it were not however. ND changing the multiplayer allowed them attract new fans while still keeping the old ones (because let's be honest here, very few people buy Uncharted solely or mainly for...
@nypifisel
A lot of these people seem to disagree. Seems a lot of people playing a game off of an external drive, in addition to it being very slow, encounter many errors.
I myself tried playing the first FEAR game off of an external hard drive, and it ran horribly (my hardware was more than sufficient to handle it as well).
Even if by some miracle it has no slowdown, there's still the plethora of other problems listed in the forums to w...
Yeah, but have they even said whether or not you will be able to play those games off your external hard drive? I hope you're not just assuming you will be able to.
"so when xbox 360 launched with a 20GB and the core that had no hard drive, it was ok? The PS3 was just barely better with the 20GB and 60GB."
No, it wasn't okay, and he didn't say it was. 20 and 60 were adequate for the time because devs didn't need to use installs as m...
"Portal is the perfect example of a game that makes all 4-5 hours of the game more memorable than most games."
Portal being memorable had absolutely nothing to do with the games length. Portal was memorable because it was unique and funny, though it was mostly remembered because it was funny.
Also, a game that is more memorable does not mean a game that is better. I remember Uncharted 2 and 3 quite well, but games like inFamous1/2, Skyrim, Borderl...
They're angry that you already have the game and they don't :)
"she flat out spoils what happens in the story the second you meet her."
Well yeah, they're satirizing all the "can I trust this person" stories, it's meant to be funny.
"really really bad loot"
It's not that bad. In fact, the rapier that you get from one of the quests is the best melee weapons you can get in Borderlands 2, with the 200% melee damage. Some of the other weapons and shields seem good ...
Yeah, it is very frustrating, though I only use split screen to transfer items between characters, because backpack/bank/locker space is absolutely atrocious in this game. They make all these unique weapons with unique properties and novelties, but they only give you a small amount of space to keep things in.
"I am assuming since Nintendo is allowing the expansion via USB 2.0, they will make wise decisions for data integrity."
Nintendo isn't known for their wise decisions on the hardware side of things, at least not in any way that will benefit the consumer.
"This is not the case at all."
I'm pretty sure it is. I can't be certain because I haven't researched it, but I'm pretty sure read and write speeds are...
External storage means nothing though if you can't store full games and play them off the hard drive though (or data, or patches). And even then if you could, it would be extremely slow.
Also, what happens when those devs who rely on saving data to the hard drive realize they can't do that anymore? What do you think they're going to do? Work tirelessly with nintendo to solve the problem? Each and every developer? Of course they wont. They simply wont make ...
Lol, you're way too late. I think this happened a couple of weeks ago.
@cleft5
And it's clear that they really weren't finished with the Mechromancer character, as there are still some bugs with that class. The bugs aren't completely game breaking, but some skills in that class are a bit bugged, so it's clear that the DLC was a little bit rushed and was pushed forward so they could have some dlc out early on.
It couldn't have been on the disc at launch. Not to mention, when games go gold (finished) they a...

@baodeus
So what do you suggest we call people who play Red Dead and people who play Angry Birds? Do you suggest we call them all 'gamers', as if we're all the same? Because we aren't. Or, what word do you suggest putting in front of the word gamer to clarify what type of gamer the person is? If we're just going to call everyone who plays any type of game a gamer, then that's just going to cause a lot of confusion. You meet someone and they claim...
"Hmmm...very mature, next time before you get your panties in a twist read my comment through so you don't miss anything."
I've noticed you like to question peoples maturity when they point out that you're wrong, and claim the other person completely misinterpreted your comment, always with your bullcrap line of "read my comment" or something along those lines.
Either you are absolutely AWFUL at expressing yourself through co...
I disagree. I like having services like Netflix and Hulu Plus available for my ps3, watching them on my tv and not my monitor and yes, I know you can hook up a pc to a tv, but on my tv, you can't without having a distorted resolution (it's a 5 or 6 year old 32" Sony Bravia HD), and even if it weren't, I still don't want to watch anything other than youtube videos on my pc. Also, a console is pretty much exclusively always going to be hooked up to a tv, while a pc is usu...
