At least it's riding on hype because it actually looks really good, compared to many other games that ride on hype based solely on the name of the franchise.
You said he would waste his money. How is he wasting his money if he's going to enjoy it? You weren't "giving him options", you were telling him he was wasting his money, which isn't something you get to decide. Just because it would be a waste to you, does not mean it would be a waste for him, but apparently you didn't consider that possibility at all, because you think you know what he will enjoy.
I'm not putting words in your mouth, I'm...
Maybe he doesn't want those or maybe he doesn't want those as much as RE6. Who are you to tell him what his money is worth or not?
Oh right I forgot. You, along with a very large percent of people here at n4g believe you have the right to decide for other people what they will and wont like, and what they should and shouldn't buy.
Two each his own. I loved the first game, it's my favorite game this generation (well 2nd favorite now that I just finished Borderlands 2). Everybody has their dislike of popular franchises. I personally think the Uncharted series is extremely overrated.
Might I ask why you hated the first game? And why you like the second? The only reason I can see is that you either didn't give the first game a real chance and only played for like 10 or 15 levels, or you hated th...
Maybe he has really long arms. He could also be leaning forward against something, meaning he wouldn't have to twist or bend his torso.
Considering that the space between the portal and the outside is probably paper thin, the pose within that picture is definitely plausible.
Also, the portal, while perfectly straight and circular to us, on his side could be slanted forward to him more, removing the need for him to lean on him.
Just sayin...
The truth to the backpack space one gets on my nerves. Tons of guns, they even have a lot of novelty guns that suck from the beginning even at your level(talking guns, guns with special effects beyond stats) so the only reason to keep them is for shits and giggles, yet there is so much less inventory and bank space than there was in the first game that it discourages keeping unique items quite a lot. I think the first game, without the dlc, had like 60 something inventory slots if you full...
The driving is fine, there's nothing to "fix", since it isn't broken. It's not excellent, but it's not bad. It takes a bit getting used to, but it's a perfectly fine way of getting from point A to point B. It could be better, but it's not broken as you imply.
How is it wrong? It looks as if he's leaning through the portal, with his arms on the outside of the portal, and his stomach inside of the portal, meaning he is really close to it. Kind of like if I were leaning forward through a window, I could, if the wall underneath the window wasn't too thick, put my arms on the outside of the window yet still have my main body inside.
Seems pretty fine perspective wise to me.
In the "5 most loved franchises" list.
I hope they do warhawk 2. I loved warhawk, I played it to death, but starhawk was just really disappointing to me, and I regret paying full price for it.
Yeah, there are orange lvl gear in the game.
Well apparently you don't either. Ever see those "hope" or "change" obama parody posters? They're just parodying the original, just as the people who put the inside cover art are probably parodying that star wars poster.
But believe whatever ridiculous crap you want to believe and go ahead and jump to conclusions. It's pathetic how so many people these days are so set on starting fights over issues that don't even exist.
Lol. I said playstation button because I'm not 100% sure it works on the 360 version. It probably does, but I wont say if I'm not sure.
This was one issue for me when I played the beta. At first I thought it was just me though.
Just tried this a few times. Even if you don't care at all about the novelty of these guns, they are actually really damned good guns. It will cost a lot, but they're guaranteed purple guns that scale with your level apparently.
Be warned though, if you do decide to do this, sometimes you may only get one of the guns, and sometimes you might not get any of the guns, so just keep tipping her until she gives you them both. If you don't get ANY of the guns or if...
Does every single parody joke have to be given credit then? As someone said below, it's probably an easter egg for their upcoming dlc, which has some elements of star wars in it.
There are plenty of referential jokes in video games and tv shows and movies and whatnot, but they never express during the show or credits what the parody was in reference to, and they shouldn't have to.
If you don't get that it's a parody, then that's your prob...
Consoles tend to be more streamlined, which I like.
With a console, all you have to do is buy the game, pop it in (maybe do a few installs or patches) and then play.
With PCs, you have to take up a bunch of space on your hard drive, which isn't necessarily a problem and you do have to do the same things for consoles, but consoles pretty much only need hard drives for game data, while pcs need storage space for so much more (unless you don't use your p...
Really looking forward to this one.
@Floobersman
Have you watched any of the other trailers? Salvador, aside from the psycho, is pretty much the mascot of borderlands 2. Most gameplay videos you see out there are usually of Salvador, at least most I have seen.
Zer0 has some badass spotlight in the Wimoweh and Wub Wub trailer.
It's Mayas turn to shine now :)
Axton doesn't seem to be getting a lot of attention though, but to me, he kind of does just sou...
@Carl_Shocker
Advertisements and the actual game are two completely different things. Did you ever think maybe they were talking about the actual game when they said Connor would be neutral?
Advertisements of video games rarely do a good job of reflecting the tone or "vibe" as you put it, of the actual game. Just look at all those idiotic gamestop "pre order bonus" trailers, the one for battlefield was terrible, but it didn't mean th...
