Plus it's a pretty big risk. You never know whether or not somebody has embedded some crap into the OS. Back when I was really into trying out different OSs on my extra pc, I ran into an infected operating system about 65-70% of the time.
So when I built myself a new computer, I decided not to take a gamble and just bought myself a new copy of Windows 7, and haven't regretted it at all.
@Kamikaze
Honestly I thought your post was a jab at motion controls or a statement that you will never play a shooter without a controller.
I didn't detect any sarcasm in your post.
@Bitby
Yeah, I didn't like it either, but I refrained from calling it terrible because I'm really not into the whole "build crap" gimmick that in my opinion ruined the mp, but I think there are some who like it.
"Starhawks SP was just a tacked on expanded tutorial. I want a fleshed out campaign with huge battle like the the reveal trailer teased."
That's what it may have been in truth, but to them it was their ...
Warhawk doesn't need single player, it's a multiplayer game now, and a damned good one. Besides, we already got a taste of what Warhawk single player would be like(from starhawk), and it was terrible, and I wouldn't want the devs making another one, they need to just stick to what people want and what they're good at, the multiplayer side.
I don't know if I'm just unlucky, but every time I click on the link provided, some annoying as hell 5 second timer starts and skips to the next ps2 video.
Anyone who might be having the same problem I am, here's a link that actually works:

I have to disagree a little bit with you there. Battlefield 3 has team deathmatch now. Go ahead and play a round of team deathmatch on Norshal canals and tell me it doesn't feel strikingly similar to playing something like cod4.
The gameplay is much more fast paced than it used to be, and it's much smoother than it used to be, both of which are a good thing. It's still not quite as fast as cod, but I think it fills the void of that fast paced reaction shooter ...
Borderlands may be their only great franchise, but it's one hell of an amazing franchise. Borderlands 1 and 2 are in my top 5 favorite games this generation.
Two amazingly fun games (some of the best I've played) with awesome DLC done right, that's enough for me to consider Gearbox a great developer. I wont say they're the greatest, but they definitely are great in my opinion.
Yep. I know I can't judge a full game based on a demos CONTENT, but I can judge it based on its controls, because I don't think I've ever experienced an instance where a demos controls were at all different from that of the full games controls.
If I hate the controls of the demo, then it's incredibly likely that they wont change in any significant way in the full game, which is a good indicator of whether or not I'll hate a game.
There's a bank glitch that lets you store an infinite amount of items in your bank. It's very quick and easy to do. Just go into the bank and bring up the menu like you're about to deposit a weapon, click X (or a if you're on xbox, or the button on pc w/e it is to deposit something) but instead of depositing it into an empty space in the bank, move your cursor over to your own inventory and click on a weapon that you want to deposit. So basically, you're just depositing ...
Your opinion is sh*t anyway, so who cares?
"Every medium has its masters, and there exists no one better qualified to critic its respective medium then the masters themselves."
Not agreeing with JBlaze here, but are you saying that a developers view on a game is more important/factual than just some regular joe who enjoys games?
There have been some really good developers who have said some really stupid things about games, so are we supposed to ignore everyone elses opinions on games and li...

I'm not much of a jrpg fan, but I LOVED Dragon Quest VIII and would buy a Vita/PS3 remaster day one. It's really the only jrpg I've ever really liked other than the pokemon games.
I've been hoping for this for a while now, hopefully it's true, because it's an incredibly beautiful game (first played this on my bc ps3 and it looked gorgeous), just imagine how much better it can look remastered/remade. The art style lends itself perfe...
Pro for waiting: you'll get the full, complete edition with all the dlc for the same price as the regular launch copy.
@lodossrage
So you're paying a very SLIGHT amount increase in money, yet believe you deserve an insanely higher amount of quality? There's still differences between our countries that balance out the cost, we're basically paying the same price, where it might cost you a tad extra for ps+, something else you have in your country offsets that cost.
And even if you were paying more, the difference between the content you guys get and the content we ...
"The problem here is there is this extreme sense of entitlement going on within the confines of PS Plus."
People have every right to feel entitled about things they pay money for. I feel entitled to a working, fully functional game when I pay money for it, and will complain and be upset if it has a lot of glitches, and I'll be upset if I pay full price for a game that doesn't give me my moneys worth and is only 3-4 hours. The reason I mention these is that...
"When EU got Guardians of Middle Earth last month, people in the U.S. complained about them not getting it."
I never heard any complaints at all.
"For all of you so called gamers out there, you should have been had the majority of these games in the first place before they ever even reached Playstation Plus."
If this were 3+ years ago I might be inclined to agree with you, but there are an ass ton of worthwhile games out t...
@MmaFan-Qc
Not trying to defend the fanboys who fail to see the value of plus, but in answer to your question, money.
Most people would rather spend money on games than playstation plus.
I myself have plus, but that's only because I'm riding off the free 3 months that came with my black friday vita bundle. And I don't plan on renewing, as the only thing I've ever used it for was cloud game save backups.
Plus ...
Wish i was like that. I have so many unfinished and barely played games that just sit there as a constant reminder of how much money I've wasted. To finish all of them I'd probably have to give up new releases for at least a year, most likely more.
@Ju
I thought it was pretty bad in KZ3 to be honest. Though I only tried 2 different tweaked layouts, so maybe I just can't get the right settings.
But I thought games like RE5:Gold, Modern Combat 2 Domination, inFamous 2/FoB, and Counter Strike GO used it very well.
In Resistance 3 I thought it was okay, better than KZ3 at least. I dunno, maybe it has something to do with the pacing of the games as well.
