And yet somehow Sony managed to do both at their conference, show the features of the system and what it can do, AND show a healthy number of awesome looking games. While Xbox just showed this: http://www.youtube.com/watc...
OMG NEXT GEN!
Just in case some of you haven't read the article(not speaking to either of you two personally, just trying to get my comment closest to the top as I can to let people know),
you can get the entire Alan Wake Franchise on PC (the collectors edition of Alan Wake and Alan Wakes Nightmare AND the soundtracks) for just 1 dollar.

Amazing deal, as I was...
"(that was Desmond's fault)"
Really? I thought his sequences were actually kind of fun. Connor ruined AC3 for me. Such an awful, whiny character with an annoying personality.
There's probably a minimum amount of game data you need (something like 30-50%) and then it starts working. That 30 or 50% is probably programmed to be the earliest parts of the game, because most people probably wont get very far enough in the game to have it stop, the game will probably have finished downloading before it hits the stopping point.
I don't think it sucks, but I clearly don't see the heart or soul AT ALL from FUSE. I mean the controls are tight, the abilities seem kind of cool (though nothing mindblowing), the co-op is neat, but the game completely lacks personality and just looks (and eventually makes it feel) like just another generic 4 player co-op class based shooter. Hell, even the "realistic" graphics they're going for aren't even that good. They look as generic as a game can possibly g...
The guy does kind of look like a douchebag, but come on, this is inFamous we're talking about. One of the greatest open world action games of this generation, certainly my favorite (I've completed both games 3 times each and bought the Collectors edition for the second game).
The new protagonist, while he does look like a douche, will be much better once we actually play the game and get to know his character.
Bots would be great, especially if they're highly customizable. It's such a pain in the ass trying to learn flight controls in the game. I finally figured out you can just find an empty server and practice movement there, but there are things you can still only learn while playing against other players, like successfully avoiding stinger missiles, properly shooting and aiming at moving targets, how many times you need to hit an enemy before they go down, and keeping up your movement...
I really liked Dragon Quest 8, and I typically don't enjoy jrpgs very much.
I wouldn't say it's the 'best', but it's definitely up there. If I would have to give that title to anything though, it would definitely be the first Bioshock.
It's definitely in the top 5 though, and would put personally put it above many of these supposedly amazing and very highly rated/praised games that I simply find just 'good' (GTAIV, Uncharted 2, Skyrim just to name a few).
Infinites biggest flaw is probably its gamepla...

I was one of the 160,000 people who bought a Vita during the black Friday sale when they had it for 180 dollars. So i would say that a price drop definitely would help sell vitas, as i had absolutely no plans to buy a vita at its current price. Memory cards should also be dropped SIGNIFICANTLY as well.
It wont be. West and Zampella (the guys that made cod up to mw2) are gone. I've played every CoD to date (though I sold mw3 and got BO2 for 30 bucks), desperately and foolishly hoping that I could recapture those awesome feelings that CoD4 and MW2 (before everyone figured out how to ruin the game with killstreaks and commando)gave me, and that Activision could at least make a Call of Duty on par with CoD4 or MW2, but they wont, and they can't.
I've decided to k...
You don't have as much control over your character as you do in other games.
"I called you a troll because if you don't like something, you should stay away from anything that pertains to what you don't like."
So a comments section should consist solely of positive comments, no criticism, no argument, no actual discussion? Just a page full of ass-kissing comments "sweet", "awesome", "looking forward to this!&quo...
In normal games you can control the majority of your characters moves. In heavy rain, you are restricted to make movements when the game wants you to. If someone was coming at me with a knife in any 3rd or first person game, I could back up, move side to side to jump out of the way, attack the person or w/e through skillfully timed maneuvers.
In heavy rain it's literally "press x to move out of the way into a pre-determined position" or "attack this guy ...
You need a break from something you aren't forced to play?
@DayZ
I don't like quick time events. There's a difference. And I don't own Kinect, but nice try on your baseless assumption.
@DigitalRaptor
Thank you for your actually useful comment.
@Shadowgeist
It's a game made mostly of quick time events. I despise quick time events in any game. I do not like pre-determined button commands, they take away a sense of freedom and control for me and just...
I'm hoping the gameplay doesn't mainly consist of quick time events like Heavy Rain did.
It looks really good, but the quick time event style gameplay (regardless of how many outcomes it produced) simply wasn't enjoyable to me.
A man might pre-order BF3 if he sees some gameplay footage of the multiplayer. A man really liked BF3 premium, and a man is looking forward to seeing how BF4 will expand upon BF3.
But a man will wait for the ps4 version before he decides to buy or pre-order.
So, basically, lose all your expectations for this game to be good.
Great. I loved Deus Ex Human Revolution, and was REALLY looking forward to their next game. Now it's seeming like in the end, they're probably just going to throw a bunch of unorganized/unpolished ideas together just to get it released like many other devs have done.
Ugh. What the hell is going on over there?
I'll give it a shot, but honestly, Halo doesn't really seem like the best video game to adapt to TV.
