Take a look at sandman224s profile and some of his comments before you consider his opinion to be valid.

On Bioshock Infinite:

"I played an hour of this game on ps3, I love the art and story, but I dont think its a perfect game. I have more fun playing gears of war judgement and god of war ascension multiplayer."

""My favorite. Call of duty, Killzone, and Halo."

@allaroundgamer

So to you, sitting in an isolated part of the map being useless, telling other people what to do when you aren't doing anything helpful yourself is considered to be "strategy"? Honestly that sounds a lot more like CoD gamer than anything else. Sitting where nobody can get to you, taking cheap shots, not going for the objective, actually believing you're helping by taking out a few foot soldiers.

Get in a tank, a helicopter ...

Hmm, that sounds pretty lame overall. I definitely wouldn't take orders from some random prick who thinks he knows how to play the game better than I do and just loves telling people what to do.

The artillery strikes seem kind of cheap and unnecessary. I'd rather not be killed while capturing a point in conquest by some random explosion from some no-skill camper. Supplies and vehicle drops seem very situational, and I imagine people wouldn't use them half the t...

What is this commander mode? The only thing I know about it is that it was a feature from Battlefield 2, which I've never played.

The dealz!!!

Seriously though, they are tempting and addictive. I'm in a similar situation to lizard. I initially bought a bunch of games off of steam sales, thinking if I got a lot of games, I'd become more comfortable with pc gaming.

Yet the only ones I've actually finished are the first Bioshock (and that was only a few days ago), Ghostbusters (do not know why I beat that over so many other better games), Portal, and Half Life 2 and its expan...

I will agree that the game is not without fault and is not as good as the first Bioshock, and I have plenty of reasons why, but most of your reasons I just find ridiculous.

Real gripes:
-No special ammo (same thing as alternate fire)
-Enemies aren't as menacing or interesting as the first games enemies
-Characters, people and songbird are way underdeveloped even though they have so much potential
-2 weapon carry limit, which is by far my ...

"So an rpg the fires mines and turrets isn't alternate fire? Did you skip Bioshock 2?"

That's special ammo, not alternate fire.

"You did a fine job of naming ( and padding for numbers...you listed both turrets..lol)all the enemies but their behaviors are the same. Shoot spam and melee... it got boring. You had to strategize for big daddy fights and you pretty much just shoot run repeat for Infinite`s equivalents."

"she was happy you protected her which you didn't seeing as enemies never attack or go after her at all."

You do realize there's more than one way to protect her, right? He was protecting her from being captured by killing all those people that came for her, he was protecting her by rescuing her from the tower and helping in her escape from Columbia. There's no use in attempting to sneakily capture Elizabeth if there's a sharpshooter with superpowe...

@InTheLab

Bioshock never had dual wielding plasmids. Therefore, this really isn't a major issue.

Bioshock also never had alternate fire. It had special ammo, but since you listed alternate fire AND special ammo, this leads me to think you don't know what you're talking about.

Infinite has Fire Men, Motorized Patriots, Boys of Silence, Handymen, Crows, Melee Soldiers, Rocket Soldiers, Sniper Soldiers, Ground Turrets, Mosquito Tur...

@Leo

Elizabeth isn't some stupid mario princess who is too stupid to run away when someone tries to catch her, and she isn't some stereotypical weak woman who needs constant 'saving', she's strong, smart, she stays close to Booker at all times in combat, which forces the enemies to take you out first, as you're a priority threat.

Sure, there are faults in the game, but even with the faults, Bioshock Infinite kicks the sh*t out of most ...

I agree with your second paragraph, but it is certainly NOT a bad Bioshock game. I personally don't think it's quite as good as the first, but it's FAR from being a 'bad' Bioshock game.

Microtransactions in Mass Effect 3 multiplayer are just shortcut unlocks, there is no exclusive content in the microtransactions whatsoever. You can get everything by playing legitimately that you can by paying for it.

Including free microtransactions would mean you could just keep unlocking everything the multiplayer had to offer on the very first day, maxed out weapons, maxed out characters, making the whole unlocking system they worked on and created pointless. So arguin...

"the PS3 version had alot of input lag"

Key word being "had". It doesn't anymore. I actually got used to it and prefer it, it gives the game a feeling of weight, which I like.

"The maps on the console version are too big for the small amount of players"

Not really. Unless you're a CoD addict who absolutely has to shoot at something within 5 seconds of spawning. I like the number of players to map size...

Then why post at all if you're not willing to discuss?

If you gave me some reasons, I wouldn't immediately say you're wrong (unless you were factually/objectively wrong), but I'd probably say something that might get you to see something in a different way, or you might say something that makes me see it in a different way, things neither of us might not have thought of before.

But if you're totally unwilling to converse with people on thi...

"A gay gamer isn't going to offended by a heterosexual relationship though"

Says who? Are you gay? Even if you could find one or even a few gay people who weren't offended by hetero relationships, there's probably still some of those who are.

And if they're so freaking uncomfortable, then they can simply NOT BUY THE GAME. Those weird and creepy japanese games with tentacles make me extremely uncomfortable just thinking about them,...

Plenty? Please name these "plenty" amount of problems.

I've only ever heard three criticisms about the game, and they were all subjective personal nit picky gripes.

I've heard people don't like the last boss. I did quite a bit and don't see a problem with it. It's certainly better than most bosses today, in that you actually have to fight it to beat it rather than go t...

EVERYONE READ THIS

Just a heads up to everyone keeping up with bioshock infinite articles, I'd advise you to keep away from the comments section from now on, as we now have our first potential worthless, no life douchebag scum who is posting possible HUGE spoilers in Bioshock Infinite articles. The poster in question, who has had two comments already reported as spam in bioshock articles is DonJogHurt.

I can't confirm whether or not his spoilers are t...

I only read the first part of your comment and stopped after that, but if any of what you said is true, then edit your comment right now, because you have just spoiled a huge plot point for the game for me and will for many others. If that was your intention, then please, throw yourself in front of a car right now.

Now if you're just speculating or guessing, then disregard the car remark, because as i said, i did not and will not read the rest of it for fear that your com...
