Well it's the 3rd best selling game of the year in the US but still under Helldivers 2 and college footbal.
It's still great sales but not the biggest game like people are claiming. It wasn't even last year as it couldn't out sell hogwarts.
It would run ps4, ps5 ,indie games and 3rd party switch 2 games but not PS6 games.
I still think there is value and demand for a PS handheld that plays all those games natively. Especially if if your PSN library carries over and it isn't like the switch where you have to re buy all your games.
This game looks impressive with everything happening on screen. It was fun until the last boss and then it got from software hard...but i think you're supposed to run away but won't let you because it's a demo.
Pretty funny when i am finishing off high ranker on his own and 30 other soldiers on my side joining in. It was like a mosh pit and i was comboing blind because the pile of soldiers was obscuring the camera.

I think that doesn't apply to RE, Monster hunter and Dragon's dogma 2. Those break even at launch.
I think it mostly applies to kunitsu gami or exoprimal level games that don't launch well but eventually break even.
I take that quote as they rarely lose money on games as they on average end up recuping dev costs.

Just turn off auto renew, let it lapse and keep an eye out on january 3rd. It was up to 40% off last january so this might work in your favor.
They haven't stacked memberships for a year or 2. Best time to subscribe is black friday, late december holiday sale and days of play(around 1st week of june) where there has been a ps+ sale for the last couple of years.
There is no way Sonon and (maybe) Nero don't show up in Wutai in at least a side quest.
I enjoyed intergrade and the inclusion of the side characters in rebirth. And yuffie's trial in rebirth is more impactful having played intergrade.
@ ninosan Maybe i will try the mini games again and see if i can do them. Maybe i was burnt out after the pull up challenge and a new game was coming out.
I loved the brutal encounters as the combat is so fun i can do it all day. I did look up the best materia load outs though.

I did the same. Just got essential for a year on days of play at a discount and upgraded to premium today at 30% off. Lucky squire, last of us part 1, crisis core and no more heroes 3 are on the docket now.

I never toggle this as i don't have a 120hz tv but i should if it affects imput lag.

3d brawler sephiroth and a piano challenge is all that is keeping me from a platinum...and they are hard enough that i probably won't bother. So i get 2.
But most of the mini games are optional so i wouldn't take them out. Just don't make them supper hard if it's blocking side story content or trophies.

Max payne 2 was the last time they worked with rockstar in 2003. And it bombed.
Rockstar asked remedy to check out Max Payne 3 for notes but were not really involved.
So having worked on a project 20 years ago doesn't mean they have been working together for 20 plus years.
Well rockstar is paying the bills so they have to project confidence so it isn't cancelled.
What I'm wondering is who is going to voice Max since the og actor died or they are using the old VO like MGS3Remake.
japan studio got absorbed into team asobi and other studios so the current team asobi wouldn't exist without the closure.
Ex team japan studio members left to make slitherhead so I'm pretty sure they didn't want to make remakes.
