I liked human revolution but when I tried mankind divided (ps4) the combat felt off, ran poorly and just sold the game after 5 hours. I guess I'm just not into it anymore. And the first deus ex is influential not the new square Enix version. The new games are just simply good. And don't blame squarenix, because they actually revived the dead series.
They can't keep making games that don't sell because the original was groundbreaking.

Honestly I would have paid more for a team ico game. Ico and shadow of the colossus were amazing so I would have paid in full even if it got 2's from reviews. When a studio gives me 2 or 3 gems in a row the next game gets bought sight unseen. :)

Naughty Dog's treatment of multiplayer can't effect their reputation because NOBODY fanboys over their multiplayer. You wasted so much time complaining about a portion of the game Naughty Dog (or Sony mandated) put in there just to the delay the trade/craigslist sale of the game for 1 or 2 weeks.

I can see why it isn't selling like crazy. Honestly the game is just you leading a awesome looking creature out of a castle. I was frustrated at the beginning...but the majestic creature grows on you. The creature is unlike anything you've ever interacted with in a videogame. One of a kind videogame. Pick it up.
They are all unique experiences besides tales and yakuza. Those two follow the same formula every year I'll admit. If you're bored playing all of those games you're not into games anymore...
Just played final fantasy xv, the last guardian, let it die and RE7. Four totally different type of games. Now looking forward to gravity rush 2, yakuza 0, tales of berseria, Ni oh, persona 5 and horizon. All different types of games of the most unboring kind. And those things happened because they rebooted the franchise. Capcom actually said they wanted God of War sales numbers as a reason for the reboot. Another DMC2 like money grabbing mistake.
Some of it was opinion. DmC sold half of what DMC4 sold. RE4 got away with rebooting up the game play of the franchise because what they introduced was game changing third person perspective. RE7 is rebooting up the gameplay but offering common first person perspective and gameplay. What was 100% false?
No other famous re characters were used as the main or supporting characters. Except for a cameo. And articles mentioning raccoon city incident years ago does not make it canon. All other numbered titles had character or plot connections. This is random people interacting with random people. Not Chris redfield after wesker, Jill escaping raccoon city before it blows or Leon and Ada's adventure in Spain.
Resident evil 7 is awesome. Beaten it twice now. But it might as well be a reboot. Canon is out the window. Reboots are only good for struggling franchises. Because it can backfire and lose half of the audience , that just wants more of the same. Same happened to DmC. RE4 only succeeded because it was revolutionary. RE7 is just another good horror game.
If you love Nintendo games then buy the switch. If not don't. There are going to be 3 to 5 Nintendo gems a year for the switch. Surrounded by wii like third party overpriced shovelware. Ok. It is too intense in here on a non issue. So what if you have to put more than you wanted in your wallet? It will just go towards the next purchase. Are you people not planning on buying a game on PSN ever again?! If you're only buying 50c items every couple of months that 5 dollars might seem like a rip off. But who among us is doing that?! Naruto ultimate ninja storm 4 has the best cell shaded graphics. Horizon isn't cell shaded. And I have no idea what you're talking about. Horizon destroys Zelda in the graphics department. Im not into Zelda so I won't make game quality claims but stop saying a wii U game looks better than a AAA ps4 game. Not you but people in general... It diminishes your credibility.
