12k peak for Indiana Jones but i don't remember any reporting on it's under performance... and before the gamepass excuses come out persona 3 reload had 40k and stalker 2 120k while being on gamepass.
The article claims pure action games haven't taken centre stage since dark souls and i disagree listing some games i think have since then. Add Bayo 2 to that list as well.
I never said there are the same amount or more pure action games than souls like.
I guess the journalist isn't aware of the some what recent bayonetta 3 or DMCV? Even the DmC reboot and metal gear rising came out after dark souls.

I would go with Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio (yakuza games) or Atlus. RGG relases 1 to 3 quality games a year and last year atlus released P3R, SMTVengence and Metaphor. And most of these games are polished at launch.

Last year all the third party playstation exclusives like stellar, FF7, Silent hill, etc didn't count and playstation had no games but now they count.

And while the graphics are dissapointing i just realized that with platinum developing it and their switch development experience that these graphics are to accommodate a 60fps switch 2 version at launch.
Only south of midnight isn't on PS5 day one...i think they are good.

Ninja Gaiden 4 has some average visuals (I would expect dmc v level at least) and is especially apparent after seeing that the Ninja gaiden 2 remake looks better visually. I think platinum is in a Atlus type situation where they will have dated tech but still be great games.
Ninja Gaiden 4 is still day one though going by that gameplay.
The demo was alright. Kinda basic souls gameplay. Loved the look and the venom/darkness type voice that speaks to you in your head though.

Comes out tomorrow. Loved their last game Ender Lillies. Waited on some reviews before preordering and it it's at 90 on metacritic now. Preordered. And there is a 10% psn+ discount for preordering...you have 20 hours to take advantage.
Maybe ease of use is what made it a better choice. And it was already tested by a another studio with kojima productions having shipped death stranding on Decima.

He is most likely referencing voicing Vergil for the Netflix anime that i hear might be retelling the dmc3 story and will definitely have Vergil in it regardless of what story they tell as they said Vergil will be in it.
But it could be a new game as well as capcom could be taking advantage of the possible popularity of the new anime to do a DMC3 remake. Less likely but possible.
