It's just hack journalism saying 3rd party exclusives going to other competing platforms is the same as 1st party. Shall we say that Nintendo games are going to other consoles since No More Heroes 3, Octopath and Monster Hunter Rise got ported to other consoles? Dumb.

I didn't have a problem with Ico, Miles Morales or RE3 being short so not really a problem here either. Especially since it will be a gamepass rental that costs me 5 bucks.

Pretty sure the "haters" were referring to first party games losing quality due to gamepass. Lost is the need to polish a game that is just getting thrown into a service. Redfall and Starfield for example.

I don't recall anyone saying a third party games's quality was diminished for being on gamepass. Theses games have to be good for sales to happen on other platforms. Lies of P, Persona 3 Reload, Plague Tale Requiem, for example.

Doing the calculations you would save 10$ plus tax on helldivers 2 with the points over using them on psn credit. At least in canada.

Problem is i doubt i will ever get to 10k points. I got 2k points and i will probably use 1250 to get 5 off the FXVI DLC.

Rise of the ronin released March 22. It's 9 days on sale is the reason their fiscal year isn't doing well? And they didn't even say Ronin under performed?

Are you checking out youtube easy guides? Yuffie, Barret, Aerith ATB ward exploit got me through Rulers and Cloud genji glove magic set up for Bonds. Those are really the only really hard ones.

Microsoft has been doing premium edition early access for awhile(Forza and Starfield recently) ...so why is it an issue now when Ubisoft does it?

It can't be the gamepass excuse as Ubisoft has day one subscriptions as well.

I just think they are making it harder because everyone seems to brease through XVI. I will be playing in Final Fantasy mode(Hard) so I welcome the challenge.

That's a problem for CEO's to deal with. We don't know how much it made considering we don't know the budget or how much Sony paid them.

On the consumer side we know part 3 is being worked on so it doesn't really matter. And it's Yoshinori kitase's last Final Fantasy so it won't have a budget reduction.

Rebirth outsold all those games in Japan at launch and in total. Numbers are publicly available.

And outsold all those games worldwide except probably Dragons Dogma 2. Estimated numbers are over 2 mil for rebirth and all the other JRPG's you mentioned are boasting they have sold 1 million and less.

Feel like I'm taking crazy pills when i see people bring up games that have sold less as proof that a more successful game is less successful.

I thought Motive(that made the first remake) was making an Iron Man game so i asumed i wouldn't see Dead Space 2 in awhile.

I hope it rivals the god of war (2018) reveal conference but it doesn't NEED to be. Exclusives are already plentiful.

2 GOTY contenders (Helldivers 2 and Rebirth), Grandblue Relink(Good), Ronin(mid 70's metacritic) and Foamstars(bad but free on base plus). And we still have XVI DLC and Stellar Blade to come out this month. Silent Hill 2 must be this year. So i am happy with the Sony output this year if there was nothing else.

They won't complain about Microsoft not releasing games here but put all their effort into saying that only first party counts. Games like Rebirth and Grandblue Relink don't count. Games published by Sony like Helldivers 2, Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin don't count because Sony don't own the studios.

It's some narrative building so for when Hellblade 2 come out they can say, seemingly without shame, that Microsoft is actually releasing first party...

Apparently there is a IX remake getting made. You need that to come out and be successful before a VIII remake is even possibly green lit.

But if you're thinking the FF7REMAKE team is making a FFVIII remake after part 3...that is not happening. They are definitely making a new FF after.

As more evidence to not be worried about Part 3 is that it will be Kitase's retirement game so i doubt he will allow it to be held back.
