Cogconnected's marks out of 100 scoring system is nonsensically specific. But in real terms a 7.8 rounded up is an 8 - that's a good score.
@banger88 🤣
The lady in the picture is pretty far from 50! She's probably not thinking so much about Fallout 5 and more about whether she's paid of her funeral so little Johnny doesn't haven't to worry.
Microsoft’s potential acquisition of ABK was blocked and it is natural that the people involved expressed disappointment. However what is disgusting about the threats to the UK government is that it is also a veiled warning to other nations and regulators that if a decision doesn’t go in its favour there will be dire consequences. Therefore it is using its marketing weight to bully future decisions about it.
How sad can you be to have 40+ alt accounts on N4G just so you can downvote comments you strongly disagree with.
Tom Ivan is such a shit quality reporter.
Today's news about the CMA rejecting Microsoft's purchase of Activision-Blizzard purchase has hit him hard. He's scrambling for all sorts of stories to bring him some hope so what does he do? He goes to perennial Microsoft cheerleader Michael Pachter who says 'the deal is not dead'! Pachter also says 'we think the CMA is on the wrong side of the law on this ruling.' Pachter is ill-informed about the UK p...
Xbox hardware declined 30%. Xbox Content & Services is up 3%. So what does it all mean? Let's look at the bad and the good.
THE BAD:
Firstly, in the hardware space Microsoft has a problem because there has been a significant drop in demand for the Xbox consoles, and considering the Xbox Series S was often available at a discount it cannot be said the price was a barrier.
Game Pass; no matter how beloved by Xbox owners for its value it'...
A multi-billion dollar company is refusing to pay the easily affordable API of a social media company that some of its customers use for this reason; it is not aligned with its political values.
@BandarHub I disagree with the point you are trying to illustrate which is that this acquisition is comparable to Microsoft's likely acquisition of Activision/Blizzard.
What Microsoft is seeking to do is use its Big Tech money to buy the leading third party publisher and remove its games from it biggest audience - the PlayStation community. Many of Activision's games have a long history on PlayStation.
FireWalk Studios hasn't released a single...
@Roadkillers said: “ It's becoming irrelevant like Sonic”. Bungie-era Halo was massive, each game was a cultural event that made the news. I have wondered why there had been a drop in popularity. Part of it may be attributed to a perceived lack of quality. But perhaps in this age of Fortnite and Call of Duty dominance an FPS/TPS requires a multiplatform release for widespread popularity.
Such an entitled gamer @TheGamer. If you EXPECT first-party games to be free forever like on Xbox Game Pass then you will relate to his point of view. I expect nothing, I don’t judge PlayStation Plus content according to how Game Pass is run.
TheGamer bloggers get a small commission on the amount of clicks their articles get so controversy sells- think about what’s happening here!
@ravens52 @RedDevils Taking $1.4 Billion, that's unbelievable! So when people are on quiz shows and they win a holiday or physical item like coffee machine or TV do they have to pay tax on that too?
If someone wins the lottery in the US do they have to pay tax on their win?
Why declare it? It’s not like the tax office would be able to find a paper trail to higher income.
@OtterX That's good!
@JackBNimble Yes.
@RauLeCreuset - I'm definitely not upset by downvotes. But in this case it's an indication that a joke I thought so obvious - wasn't so obvious!
@PorkChop Judging by the multiple downvotes I think the meaning of my comment was missed!
For me, 60fps is desirable but 30fps is absolutely fine - I've been playing games at 30fps for years and often choose fidelity/graphics mode because I love to see the crispest visuals.
I don't understand why Redfall won't have 60fps at launch considering this is a Microsoft first-party game that is being made just for its own platforms and it has set the launch date. Does this mean the game is being pushed out too early to meet the set launch date? Does it mean ...
Don’t be so naive as to believe Microsoft’s false claims about our gamer communities being infiltrated! Listen, my N4G comrades; Americaиs make up all kinds of lies about Mоther Яussia.
He’s ginger - how badass can he realistically be?
Stop the console warring? It’s the best part!
During his long Game Awards speech Christopher Judge I suspect said everything he wanted to say and thanked everyone he needed to thank, so why repeat that? He couldn’t just accept his BAFTA award without making a speech so he had to say something. His ‘stop fighting’ content is well-intentioned but ultimately was meant to please the room of executives feasting on lavish food.
"Good enough for Game Pass" That headline is what you call damning with faint praise. But it underlines the idea that games released on Game Pass have a lower quality threshold but it is acceptable to subscribers because they are all included 'free' in the subscription. This is something that Microsoft can combat by ensuring it only releases its first-party games when they are at 'retail quality'.
