For all the grief the Xbox One gets listen to this fact; the Xbox One reached 2 million sales in the UK much quicker than the Xbox Series S and X combined. LET THAT SINK IN. (And the Series S is readily available at half the price).

I believe Starfield will deliver on its promise of being a triple-A quality space WRPG. However, it is immature and shows a lack of understanding for a supposedly experienced reporter to believe the fortunes of Xbox will turn on the quality of this one game.
Destin Legarie is a fanboy hack who has been enabled by IGN to spout nonsense that is based on feelings and not facts without editorial ever telling him off - because he gets clicks by the Andrea Pichininis of this worl...
Yeah, it be nice when everybody goes back to Redfall articles.
So Eurogamer's gone back to giving scores then!
I will be watching - it’s been too long since the last PlayStation Showcase.
I read the headline and I thought to myself ‘that sounds like something Kotaku would write’ - and it was! On one hand you can say it’s a good thing that the website has a recognisable defined voice. On the other hand it’s not a good thing if that voice is puerile, not games related, shite.
Woah, I'm surprised to see the CMA rebuttal as it strongly explains exactly why it thinks the EU decision is wrong which is to do with Microsoft defining the cloud industry for a decade. The CMA said: "It would allow Microsoft to set the terms and conditions for this market for the next 10 years. They would replace a free, open and competitive market with one subject to ongoing regulation of the games Microsoft sells, the platforms to which it sells them, and the conditions of sale....
I was trying to decide on whether to get Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom or Redfall. Gfinityesports gave this a 6/10 and my preferred gaming website VideoGameChronicle gave Redfall an equivalent score of 8/10. As that’s the higher score I think I’ll go for Redfall. Thank God we have expert journalists to help us not make a silly buying decision.
@rippermcrip. The original story has since been updated. The author said he deleted a tweet for the story. He says: "Hey all, I decided to delete the Luna tweet (should have done it earlier!) because not all Amazon Prime subscribers have access to Luna. Turns out there's tons of countries and regions where Luna is not available. Apologies for the mix-up."

The person who wrote this article Derek Strickland is a complete insult to the craft of journalism because he has blindly copied a PR statement from Activision's CEO who obviously has a horse in the race, and provided no real context - nor did he do any FACT-CHECKING.
Strickland wrote: "Since Prime has over 200 million subscribers as of 2022, it could be technically correct to say Luna is the largest cloud gaming provider by virtue of its convertible Prime subscrib...
I'm not sure Windows Central editor Jez Cordon will approve of this criticism.
This is the game Phil Spencer highlighted as a Game Pass highlight during his recent Kinda Funny interview.
Who did the mock reviews Destin Legare and Colt Eastwood?
Near the end of the interview when Phil Spencer is asked about whether Xbox is not focusing on the boxed console because of PC Phil Spencer goes on to discuss the cloud vision - THIS is the reason the CMA rejected the Microsoft buyout of ABK.
Here is the section (very slight edits) at 34:58m in the video. When you watch Phil Spencer speak he definitely is agitated by that and the video better conveys how he is saying we are not just about console but Cloud.

The timing of this isn't accidental. Following the Redfall reviews there has been a lot of critical evaluation on how Xbox is delivering for its customers so the news of the Xbox Showcase will be a welcome attempt to change the narrative to something more positive.
My predictions: Starfield will meet its release date and be great!
Forza 8 reveal and release this year!
Hellblade II footage will be shown and announced for 2024.
@Bathyj Don't be entrenched in the fanboy wars mistakenly interpreting what anybody says as being about 'against my enemy Microsoft' or 'for my king PlayStation'! So much was said in my short comment that went over your head.
Firstly there was a point that a score so specific means it's foolish to categorise a game as say, for example, a 7.5 from a game that is a 7.6 - that's why broader scoring, eg marks out of ten or with half scores marks out...
"Good enough for Game Pass" That headline is what you call damning with faint praise. But it underlines the idea that games released on Game Pass have a lower quality threshold but it is acceptable to subscribers because they are all included 'free' in the subscription. This is something that Microsoft can combat by ensuring it only releases its first-party games when they are at 'retail quality'.
Cogconnected's marks out of 100 scoring system is nonsensically specific. But in real terms a 7.8 rounded up is an 8 - that's a good score.
It’s his franchise to milk!
