RROD, broken DVD drives and charging for online made MS blow it in Japan.

I'd love for the next-gen to release next year, I'm not buying launch consoles so if they release in 2012 I wouldn't buy them until 2014.

Oh, the 360-PS3 sales break down explains why Carmack was singing PS3s praises during development and complaining about how restrictive 360 was, but is now recently started singing the 360s praises: more sales = more console love.
If I was a dev, I'd be the exact same way.
Bioshock Infinite looks like it's teeming with creativity.
Not a terrible price actually for first time PS3 buyers.
Others have said it but I'll say it again: GT5 should be re-reviewed in light of all the updates and improvements, the game's score is like 10 percent better now.
With that being said, I liked the look of Forza 4 better IMO.
The Forza 4 demo got me interested in racing games again....but I just bought GT5 instead though because it's cheaper and just as good (better in some areas, worse in others).
I'll get Forza 4 when it drops in price.
I'd prefer if there weren't any consoles, currently, we pay more for games so Nintendo, Sony and MS can get royalties.

Yeah it's not an issue with the most capable devs but to the less talented it certainly is.
It's funny how everyone acts like these are the greatest games in the world when in a few years they'll be the next Rockband and Guitar Hero.

That price is outrageous, why not just allow any K&M to work.
MP is a waste of dev resources in sooo many games - (most people just play the most pop MP games like COD, Halo, Gears, BF, etc.)
I'm pretty sure in Canada PS3 is more popular. Live is 360s main selling point and in Canada we get half of the services for the same price.
Also, everything on 360 is more expensive than on PS3 up here due to MS charging mor for MS points in Canada than in the US.
Not that the above make a major difference on NA sales, Canada's entire population is only around 30 mill.
I wish every IGN review had 3-4 people giving it scores, it would get rid of a lot of there inconsistency.

360 was probably the most faulty electronic released in the past decade, maybe the Japanese buy things based on reputation.
The only reason 360 didn't fail everywhere is because MS secured great exclusive games (that westerners love) when PS3 had nothing. But ME, Gears and Halo don't appeal to Japanese consumers.
